This is the complete opposite of humbug!
A Christmas Carol may be one of the most recreated stories in film and TV, but the latest installment may just put all of the others to shame.
That's because Ice Cube has just been cast as the lead in the upcoming movie Humbug!
The 46-year-old rapper will play Ebenezer Scrooge in Universal's modern revamp of the Charles Dickens classic… and we cannot wait to seem him get his grump on!
We don't know too much about the film yet, aside from the fact that it's being directed by Ride Along's Tim Story, but you can probably expect to see Humbug in theaters around Christmas 2017!
Hopefully they just go for it and cast the rest of N.W.A. as the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future! LOLz!!!

Olivia Wilde, Amanda Seyfried, Marisa Tomei, & More Star In The First Holiday Movie Of The Season Love The Coopers
Is it Christmas already?!

The trailer for Love the Coopers dropped on Wednesday, and in addition to A-List actors, we think the fact that all the characters are related will give a nice warmth to the holiday movie.
You can catch Love the Coopers when it hits theaters November 13!
Ch-ch-check out the early start to the holiday season (below)!!!
This is music to our ears!
One of our favorite parts of the holiday season is getting to hear our favorite pop stars take on classic Christmas carols.
Well, it seems as though Katy Perry has decided to one-up her competition this year by writing an X-Mas hit of her own!
How very Mariah Carey of her!
