Why is she still in town?

Mischa Barton attended the Guitar Hero party in LA on Saturday, because that's what she does these days. Instead of acting, Mushy is a professional pAArtygoer!

The Smashing Pumpkins were on hand to give the Guitar Hero partygoers a fun, rocking concert.

A source tells us that while in the VIP area of the party, Mush Mush demanded that security get “all these people away from me.”

Denis Leary sat down with gay mag The Advocate to talk about his controversial book Why We Suck and things got….heated.

In the interview (which will be in next month's issue) the interviewer grills the Rescue Me douche about a chapter in his book titled 'Matt Dillon Is a Giant Fag'.

Mr. Interviewer asked what right Leary thinks he has to use the other F word. To that Leary said:

"I also have a chapter called, 'We'd Hate You Even If You Weren't Black'. I don't believe in the power of words. My parents came from Ireland, where the [C-word] is literally a word your mother and father would use to describe the weather or the car: 'That [C-word]ing car won't start!' And I come from a Catholic background where the nuns were always telling you, 'Don't do this, don't say this,' so any time anyone tells me I shouldn't say something, my reaction is, 'Why not?' "

Back in 2006, Elle magazine asked Leary to name a man he'd sleep with if his life depended on it. Leary's answer was, "I'd shoot myself in the head."

The Advocate decided to revisit that question and the slur slinger said, "I'd have to have my wife dress up as a man. I never met him, but I always really loved Paul Newman - not only as an actor, but also the way he carried himself . . . So I guess I'd have to dress my wife up as Paul Newman."

Oh Denis, Denis, Denis.

The old, shameful dog has not learned anything.

On Friday, Jerry Lewis made an anti-gay slur on Australian television similar to one he apologized for using on his annual telethon a year ago.

When asked by an Oz TV reporter on live television, how he felt about cricket, the Aussie national sport, Lewis answered:

"Oh, cricket? It's a fag game. What are you, nuts?"

Oh, Jerry. Jerry, Jerry, Jerry.

GLAAD issued the following statement about the latest Jerry incident:

"Last year, Mr. Lewis apologized for using an anti-gay slur on live television, and expressed his desire to raise public awareness about the impact of this kind of defamation. Clearly he did not take the lessons of that unfortunate episode to heart because, in an effort to be humorous, he has once again managed to offend and defame the gay community… For someone so well known for helping others, Mr. Lewis shows an incredible lack of dignity and respect when he makes comments that contribute to a climate of intolerance."

We're waiting for Jerry's new empty apology.

An interesting statistic!

Mormons all across the country are donating funds and volunteers to support Prop 8, which seeks to write discrimination into the California constitution - banning gays and lesbians from enjoying the same right and protections afforded to them by marriage that their straight friends and family members currently enjoy.

77% of funding for Prop H8te comes from Mormons.

What a great use of their money!
