Call it karma!
Well, coincidentally, the country's internet is down again!
Previously, when their web went down on Monday, they released a statement saying
TGI Friday's only wanted to drum up business and spread some holiday joy when they unleashed mistletoe drones into their restaurants.
What actually happened was pretty much exactly what everyone (other than Friday's) already knew was gonna happen: someone got hurt.
The Brooklyn Daily sent reporters to the restaurant's Sheepshead Bay location in Brooklyn to check out the whole shebang.
When they got there, they found two mistletoe drones: a 10-inch quadcopter "toy" and a more serious 23-inch, six-rotor hexacopter!
Thankfully when Friday's drone operator David Quiones took one for a spin, he chose the smaller one. On his insistence, he tried to land it on one of the reporter's outstretched hands… but she flinched when it touched down and that was apparently enough to send the drone flying into Georgine Benvenuto's face!
Benvenuto, a photographer for Brooklyn Daily, said:
Jose Canseco recently had an unfortunate incident happen to him while he was playing in a poker tournament. His surgically attached finger, which he shot off, totally fell off!!!
And Jose was not going to NOT talk about the whole thing on social media!
Here's the uncomfortable details that he shared on Twitter, writing
We're just WEEKS away from finally finding out who will claim the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy at the Dancing With The Stars finale, but it sounds like Alfonso Ribeiro might not make it to the finish line!
Earlier in the season, the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air actor injured his groin during rehearsals, but he was ultimately able to fight through the pain and still shake his booty on the dance floor!
Unfortunately, he might be sidelined for good as he has now reportedly injured his back on Wednesday, and the pain is SO bad he's having trouble walking!
This is so crazy!!
A man met every moviegoer's arch enemy while at a TCL Chinese 6 screening in Hollywood.
The American Film Institute was screening Mr. Turner when the man asked a woman to stop using her cellphone in the theater. A reasonable request.
She didn't stop. After asking several more times, he tapped her on the shoulder. That's when things turned violent.
This is one of those things everyone knows could happen, but you never really expect to see.
It's always so impressive to see cheerleaders flinging each other high into the air, but what goes up must come down and sometimes you come down HARD.
In a scary incident during the Baltimore Ravens vs. Tennessee Titans game this weekend, an unnamed Ravens cheerleader was seriously injured!
She was apparently thrown up into the air during a routine and instead of being caught, was dropped by her teammates!! Oh no!!
She landed on her head and neck!!
