Alex Minsky is an inspiration — and a hot one at that!

After losing his leg as a result of a roadside bomb in Afghanistan 4 years ago, the Marine returned to Southern California and fell into a depression after his brother suddenly passed away.

Using alcohol to cope, the now 24-year-old received 3 DUIs in 3 months before realizing he needed to change, so he did.

Rather than drinking, Alex threw himself into the gym, which is where he met a photographer who asked to photographer him, and the rest is history.

The model Marine hopes to land a gig with Calvin Klein or Nike, and with that physique, we think he stands a serious chance!

But if that doesn't happen, at the very least he hopes his story touches people, saying:

"I just want people to be inspired by me. I want people to look at me and not give up. Not quit."

Wise words!

It's nothing to hide, but we completely understand why Johnny Depp, who is notoriously shy about his personal life, would want to keep something so personal to himself!

Johnny has given up alcohol — but he wants to be clear that it was not because he was an alcoholic… it was just causing him some problems! He refuses to use the word 'quit' and still likes drinking non-alcoholic beer!

That's right, mother****ers! Samuel L. Jackson has had ENOUGH of men not speaking out about health issues, so he's going to change it!

Specifically, he's the new face of the One For The Boys drive, which urges men to visit their doctor on a more regular basis — leading to earlier cancer diagnosis rates! Sam has always been about charity, and now he's knee-deep!

Alabama’s all-male cheerleading squad is a sight to behold, and not a thing on this planet could ever make us happier than watching these fine gentlemen get their cheerleading twerk on!

The Prancing Elites are SO FIERCE!!

There isn't a lot of info about them on their Facebook page, but one thing is for certain: their dedication knows no bounds! Long night practices, early morning practices — it doesn't matter. They'll be ready to melt your faces come game-day!

We can't even begin on the outfits… you just gotta watch them werk (above and AFTER THE JUMP)!!

Sorry Miami Dolphins cheerleaders! You gotta step up your game! LOLz!

Tony Hawk is arguably the most famous skateboarder to have ever lived — his name is known in households that couldn't even tell you what a skateboard is! LOLz!

Now, he's being honored for being such a badass in the sport!

The deck that started it all, Tony's first ever skateboard, is finding a home in the Smithsonian! You can see a photo of it (above), because Tony just posted it!

Honestly — and we're gonna sound like Indian Jones here — we think that thing BELONGS in a museum! We're sure it's worth a fortune right now, and we're happy Tony went this route instead of just trying to make a quick buck!

The funny thing is, this will be the second Tony Hawk board in the museum! He donated one of his faves that he rode in 1987 a few years ago!

LOVE this girl!

Demi Lovato has been through a whole lot, and she's passing on her wisdom and strength to allll her fans!

While hitting up Chicago for the B96 Summer Bash, she moved fans like never before.

Our fave little lady performed her hit song Skyscraper, but not before giving an AH-Mazingly inspirational speech about her darkest times!

For realz, this girly is mature beyond her years!
