Jake Gyllenhaal was a pretty slim guy, especially back in his Donnie Darko days.
So to play the ripped prince in Prince of Persia he had to pack on some serious muscle.
Good thing he had an ex-marine make up a great training regimen for him!

Not like, a LOT of love, but some love!
Everybody knows that Jay-Z is a co-owner of the New Jersey Nets, but he still made sure his guests were comfortable during a party he was throwing… by making sure there was a giant TV with Game 5 between the Knicks and Heat!
The party was for

This is such an AMAZING program!
A NYC inner-city school located in a neighborhood whose closest source of food is Kentucky Fried Chicken, Burger King, and McDonald's has started to teach children how to grow and cook their own food!
The kids are not only lucky enough to grow their own edible garden at school, but they even learned from a special celebrity guest! Jake Gyllenhaal has partnered with celebrity chef Alice Waters, the founder of the program, to share his passion for gardening with the kids!
While showing off his soft side as he interacted with the children, he told reporters:
“I grew up around gardens and growing my own food, my family did that alot and that was real source of community. Growing up, more than anything, I got to know my mother and father and my sister and they got to know me at the dinner table.”
Chef Waters believes that growing and cooking food should be part of EVERY school's curriculum and we couldn't agree more! Based on how much these kids are enjoying it, we hope the program catches on and more schools give it a shot!
Check out the video above for all the details and to watch Jake Gyllenhaal teach America's youth how to grow healthy alternatives to fast food!

Jake Gyllenhaal went for a jog on Wednesday in the Hollywood Hills with his friend and co-star of his next film, Michael Pena.
The two are starring in the cop drama End of Watch, in which they'll play partners dealing with the harsh realities of working on the LAPD.
Jake looks to be in top form and the best shape of his life these days. Maybe under Jake's guidance, Michael Pena will soon be too!
We must admit, that red tank top really brings out Jake's eyes HAWT bod! Ha!
