Fifty Shades of Grey has gotten its Gatorade and vitamin E, and it's ready for another round!
The sequels Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed officially have release dates!
Universal Pictures announced at CinemaCon on Thursday that audiences can expect Darker on February 10, 2017, and Freed on February 9, 2018.
Keep your Valentine's Days open! You already have a date!
The studio also celebrated with a little tease, by dropping the first image from the sequel — Christian Grey getting dressed for the masquerade ball!
Get your first look at Jamie Dornan getting ball-ready (below):
We love Jamie Dornan, but this is just inappropriate.
In a recent interview, the Fifty Shades of Grey actor admitted to following a woman around in order to get into character for his serial killer character in Netflix's The Fall:
"The first series, I did do a couple of things to try to get inside [his mind]. On the tube, which is our underground system… Can we get arrested for this? Hold on… this is a really bad reveal: I, like, followed a woman off the train one day to see what it felt like to pursue someone like that… It felt kind of exciting, in a really sort of dirty way. I'm sort of not proud of myself. But I do honestly think I learned something from it, because I've obviously never done any of that. It was intriguing and interesting to enter that process of 'what are you following her for?' and 'what are you trying to find out?'"
Yes, that IS a really bad reveal.
While legally stalking someone requires more than one action (following someone twice, etc.), we think that you don't need to actually purposefully follow someone to get into character.
You're a good actor, Jamie. You didn't have to do this.
There are real victims of stalking out there, and to make it seem like a game? Well, that's not cool.
But she signed a contract!
If you had planned on seeing the 50 Shades of Grey sequel next Valentine's Day, we're sorry to report that there's been a slight change of plans…
We think he doth protest too much!
And if you think he is one, he will find you, and he will destroy you… JK! No, seriously Jamie. We were just joking.
In a recent interview, Jamie considers himself a "lighthearted person":
So obviously it'd be natural to assume his wife, Amelia Warner, would have some strong feelings about her hubby appearing in two more sex-filled films!
When asked about his wife's rumored reservations about the film's sequels, he said:
Get a panty change ready!
Fifty Shades of Grey was slapped and spanked with an R rating for movie theaters but apparently there were enough scenes that could've pushed that rating to an NC-17.
And he apparently also has other information for the world!
The actor revealed that a Director's Cut DVD should be on the horizon for sometime in June and there will most likely be TEN MINUTES added onto that DVD and a lot of it will feature the kinky sexy stuff they didn't show in the movie!!
Here's what Dylan said:
Fifty Shades of Grey stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson both made $250,000 each for their roles in the sexy movie but the two thespians apparently want a BIG
hump bump in their salaries for the movie's sequels!
The two did make a little extra cash through tiered box-office bonuses, but since the two have both signed on for THREE pictures they're looking to make even more for the next sequels!
And while no renegotiation will take place for at least six months, the two will look to another franchise star as a prerequisite of what to expect!
That person is Jennifer Lawrence who made
