Fun! This will surely be an incredible night of music! Ain't nothing wrong with that!
It's been announced that in honor of Black History Month, The White House will put on a special concert dedicated to the music of Motown. Slated for February 24th, Motown icon Smokey Robinson will lead an overwhelming talented lineup of stars who will serenade President Obama with some amazing music.
The event is scheduled to air nationally March 1 on PBS and will feature performances by Sheryl Crow, Jamie Foxx, Natasha Bedingfield, John Legend, Nick Jonas, Seal, Gloriana, Jordin Sparks and Glee‘s Amber Riley and Mark Salling.

Tsk tsk.
Jamie Foxx got into a fight Thursday night at an Usher show at Avalon nightclub in El Lay.
Sources say that someone at the club threw an insult to Jamie, who was sitting in the VIP lounge. This obvs didn't make Jamie too happy so instead of ignoring the guy and enjoying the show, he turned around and punched the guy! Security guards had to be rushed in and break up the brawl.
Luckily, nobody got hurt and police weren't called. In fact, eyewitness Damien Dante Wayans said it was just "a little altercation…between two friends."
Doesn't sound like a friendly altercation to us if punches were thrown and security had to be called in!
Come on, gentlemen, speak with your mouth and not with your fists. Violence is not the answer.

Seems like Jamie Foxx isn't too happy with the police in Los Angeles.
The actor is convinced that he's a victim of racial profiling.
Fox admits that he's regularly pulled over by L.A. cops, most recently near his home in the affluent Los Angeles suburb, Westlake.
Foxx said:
"I get pulled over all the time. I live in Westlake. A black man in Westlake? That's just don't happen. I got pulled over the other day for being black and happy. 'What's all that smiling about? You're smiling back there.' I was guilty."
Hmm. What do U think?

Omg, thanks Corinne Foxx! You're the best!
According to Jamie Foxx, we should all be thanking her, as it was his 16-year-old daughter who steered her daddy in the right direction with his music career. Jamie recalls an afternoon when he was first starting to get his album together and his daughter overhearING his jams. He explains:
"When I first started I was doing this little slow music, you know, just R&B … and my daughter walked in and said, 'What you doing?' I said, 'I'm working on the album.' She said, 'I hope you don't put that on there because you going to put everybody to sleep.'"
That's when Corinne advised him to reach out to some younger artists to help him out. Cue Kanye West, Drake, Justin Timberlake and Ludacris, who all lent a hand to make his album sound great!
And it's all thanks to his baby girl! So sweet.

This must have been AMAZING! We can't believe it!
Prince performed to a sold-out crowd at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, and with quite a few celebrities in attendance, he invited them all onto the stage at one point to dance with him to his hit A Love Bizarre!
Spike Lee, Naomi Campbell, Jamie Foxx, Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd, Tavis Smiley, and Alicia Keys all were spotted on stage with the singer!
Out of control! We wish we could have been there to see it!
We hope you all had a blast!

TBS has announced the opening guest lineup for Lopez Tonight's Second Season and one star just really sticks out for us.
During the opening week, some of the guests that George Lopez will sit down with are Janet Jackson, Jamie Foxx, Howie Mandel, Hillary Duff and….DMX??
Hmmm, okaaaaay, we're not exactly sure how we feel about that.

Looks like this could be a very promising one!
NBC will be picking up Jamie Foxx's new dramatic series Tommy's Little Girl, which stars Selma Blair, Paul Sorvino, Tony Sirico, and James Russo.
Impressive cast! The idea is being described as La Femme Nikita meets The Sopranos meets Awesome.
The story is about a young girl raised in a mafia family, who gets sent to an orphanage to hide after her family is killed. When she grows up, she becomes "an attorney by day, and a deadly, well trained killer by night." She seeks to avenge her family's murder, and searches for her last living relative.
We'll def be checking this out when it airs.
Does this type of show appeal to you? Will U check it out when it premieres?

Imagine how difficult that must have been!
It's been a very, very, VERY long time since Amy Winehouse has released any new music. To be fair, she's been busy. Whiskey doesn't drink itself, you know!
But Quincy Jones is celebrating his multiple decades creating beautiful music and Amy will be a part of that celebration. With the help of Mark Ronson, Wino recorded a remake of the classic It's My Party for a special album commemorating all of Qunicy's past hits. Other artists contributing to the album are Usher, Ludacris, Akon, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, T-Pain and LL Cool J.
This should be interesting! Maybe after this, she'll sober up long enough to make her own album.
We won't hold our breathe on that though!
