We were not expecting this to be so real!
Jamie Lynn Spears: When The Lights Go Down gave fans an in-depth look at the former child star's life as we've never seen it before… and she did not hold back from more difficult chapters!
That's because in addition to telling viewers what it was like growing up in Britney Spears' shadow, the now-25-year-old also revealed just how difficult it was to be a teenage mother in the public eye at just age 16.
In fact, Jamie Lynn admitted that she actually found out she was pregnant in a BP bathroom!
BritBrit would approve!
Jamie Lynn Spears may have gotten her start on Zoey 101, but we know for a fact she didn't sleep through songwriting class.
That's because the 25-year-old singer just dropped her new single Sleepover on Friday, and it has everything it takes to make a hit country song!
In addition to a catchy chorus and swinging verses, the lyrics are all about falling in love after having a little too much to drink, but wanting to take things slow. (AKA every song Blake Shelton's ever written. HA!)
It's very 2008 Taylor Swift… and we mean that in the best way possible!

Nothing can get Britney Spears down these days.
In fact, on Wednesday, the pop star not only survived the sweltering Las Vegas heat but she also hit back at online trolls with a slayworthy poolside video on Instagram. LOVES it!
For the pic (above), the blonde beauty wrote:
"My head is melting it's so hot in Vegas!!"
While most of the comments flooding the A-lister's page were compliments on how killer she looks, the Toxic singer took preventative measures against any haters as she also posted:
Spears sisters stick together!
While promoting her own upcoming single Sleepover – out this Friday, June 24 — Jamie Lynn couldn't help but boast about how proud she is of her 34-year-old sister's triumphant return to pop!
The 25-year-old mother-of-one sat down with PEOPLE on Wednesday to chat about her big sis' big comeback, saying:
Jamie Lynn Spears is taking total ownership of her past!
Just four days before Jamie's TLC documentary When The Lights Go Out is set premiere, the beauty took to People Magazine to discuss getting pregnant at 16-years-old. The momma touched on everything from the moment she found out to what it was like to let down her young fans.
Obviously, J.L.S. did NOT intend to get pregnant at such a young age, especially since she was the star of the hit television show Zoey 101. In fact, the blonde initially had trouble believing the results of a home pregnancy test she took inside a gas station bathroom.
The singer recalled:
"It was scary – I couldn't believe it."
Naturally, the worst part of discovering she was expecting was telling her family:
"My biggest concern was, 'Oh my goodness, I need to tell my mother and father and my family."
Yikes! At least Ms. Spears got through that trying experience — not to mention she came out of it with an adorable little girl named Maddie!
As for what it was like to announce her pregnancy to her young fan base, the Mississippi native explained:
Both the Spears sisters are making their comebacks!
Jamie Lynn Spears: When the Lights Go Out will be a one-hour TLC special documenting the mother-of-one's life after fame, including her thoughts on what it was like being a teen mom!

Nothing beats a spa day!

The Work B*tch singer posted a photo of he two blonde beauties enjoying massages and pampering in a snap captioned:
"Best spa day with the best little sister 💕"
Aw, so happy they're getting a break from their crazy schedules for some quality time!
And we're sure this is a much welcomed recovery during Brit's time off from her Las Vegas residency!
