We liked the title Carte Blanche better, but at least we won't have to keep referring to this as Bond 23!
During a Sony press conference held today (above, and below), it was FINALLY announced that new James Bond movie will be titled Skyfall!
Here are some other updates from the press conference:

Is this our first pic of Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem's son Leo??
Hi there, little guy!
Penelope enjoyed some downtime from filming her latest film Venuto al Mondo in Rome, Italy and spent the day in the park with husband Javier and their little boy Leo at a local park.
The two played with their son, then took him over to say hello the local police officers who were riding around on their horses.
What a little cutie! Hope you enjoyed your day off, Penelope!

Yes!!!
We're so excited about this confirmation! And it IS a confirmation, coming from the actor himself — Javier Bardem is the next Bond villain!
Here's what he said about it:

This is definitely not the kind of news you'd want to hear at any hour, but we have to tell you regardless so you aren't stuck waiting for something that may never happen.
Remember that amazing idea that Ron Howard had for an adaptation of Stephen King's Dark Tower series? The one that had Javier Bardem lined up to play the lead in 3 movies and a 2 season TV series? You know, the raddest idea that Hollywood has had in a long time?
We just got word that Universal has pulled the plug on it.
Why? Because

Oh man. This is starting to sound absolutely effing AMAZING!
And to think that this movie almost didn't happen!
There has been a lot of casting buzz surrounding Sam Mendes' upcoming James Bond sequel, but up until now, the only two confirmed actors were Judi Dench and Daniel Craig.
However, sources close to the production

Last month, we were bummed to hear that Universal Pictures had decided to push back production on The Dark Tower until February due to budget issues.
Then last week, we were bummed yet again to hear that the film's script was being rewritten AND that director Ron Howard was reportedly considering bailing on the project.
It was beginning to seem like Dark Tower may be doomed, but Ron Howard has spoken up about the project, and based on what he's saying now, it sounds like the project is still very much a go!
Here's Ron on the film's delays:

Hopefully they can get back on track! We were excited for this project!
Last month, we heard that Universal Pictures had decided to push back production on The Dark Tower until February due to budget issues.
Now, it looks like Dark Tower might be in even more trouble, because Universal is saying that the film's script is being rewritten and sources are saying that director Ron Howard is ready to bail on the project.
Delays…script issues…director issues…DOESN'T sound good at all!
We seriously hope they can figure something out, though. We were pumped to see Javier Bardem in this role!
What do U think? Is The Dark Tower doomed? Who do U think they should get to direct if Ron Howard bails?

So long as it gets made!
Universal Pictures has decided to push back production on Dark Tower until February to reduce the budget on the series. The Ron Howard-directed adaptation of Stephen King's epic novel was supposed to go up this summer, but money is a bit tight and they want to make sure they are covered for the three feature films and two limited-run TV series deal before forging ahead.
Sounds like you get a summer vacay, Javier Bardem! WooHoo!
