Wal-Mart sure had an impressive guest list for its shareholders meeting!
Tom Cruise was on hand at the corporation's annual meeting in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and he was introduced to the large crowd by Hugh Jackman after a performance by Jennifer Hudson!
The Mission Impossible actor gave a speech about some of the positive impact the retail chain has made, including providing healthy food at lower prices and helping end hunger in America:
Jennifer Hudson has lost an astonishing 80 pounds ever since joining Weight Watchers back in 2010, and because she's as slim as can be, the weight loss program gifted her the Weight Watchers Leader of the Year Award.
While posting the pics (above), the I Am Changing songstress wrote:
Jennifer Hudson lost 80 pounds on weight watchers, and it took WORK!
Just because she met her goal, though, doesn't mean she's abandoning the program. In fact, she's going to continue on her journey!
It isn't all about diet for Jennifer, though! One of her tricks to staying healthy is to keep moving — like walking everywhere, and taking the stairs, and shopping… all the good stuff you don't need a car for anyway! Plus, she DOES indulge once in a while, as depriving yourself is the best way for a craving to eventually win!
Her indulgence? Chocolate chip cookies!!
It's a lifestyle change, and it's helped her in other areas of her life! So fab!
Check out all she has to say about her journey AND her new album (above)!
We're still glad that Weight Watchers got over its little hissy fit because of the whole our-new-spokesperson-got-pregnant-again thing!
Not only does that make Jessica Simpson's new pregnancy more a of positive thing, but it also gives us new and inspiring commercials — ones that bring Jessica and Jennifer Hudson together!
They go back and forth in talking about their weight-loss adventures:
Jennifer Hudson has been the poster-child for Weight Watchers, as she has used the program to achieve her incredible weight-loss.
She's lost 80 pounds!
We're happy to hear that she has reached her ideal weight, too — girl looks fab, and we wouldn't want her to lose any more. What a big occasion that must be… so she celebrated in the best way possible: with pizza (above)!
The We Can’t Stop singer interviewed with Rolling Stone magazine for their July 4th issue, and revealed her fairly liberal thoughts on drugs and alcohol.
Given her stoner reputation, we’re not totally surprised. Though, when asked to clarify her penchant for weed, she said:
"You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes... I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves."
That sounds fairly straightforward to us. Mileybird then went ahead to state that she thinks there are things much, much worse than a little bit of the green stuff:
"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana -- people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care... I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."
She added:
"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be."
Well, Miley, marijuana isn’t exactly legal in California unless you have a prescription, so we’re not entirely sure what you mean. But, okay...
As for her transition from Disney teen idol to mature pop star, she said:
