What parent wouldn't panic??

When Jennifer Lopez welcomed twins Emme and Max back in February 2008, she noticed there was a mysterious lump on her baby daughter's head.

That's when the new mother started to go in "panic mode."

Jennifer describes the harrowing experience:

"I just remember that feeling, 'If something is wrong with that baby . . I'm gonna die. I remember looking at Marc and said 'We should call the doctor' . . . I started panicking a little bit.

We were thinking, 'Did somebody drop her when we weren't looking? . . . I just remember looking at him and saying if this baby, if Emme's not going to be OK . . . I'm not going to be OK. He's like 'I'm not going to be OK. None of us are going to be OK."

After rushing her to the hospital, it turned out nothing was wrong, but it did make J. Lo wonder what it must be like for parents who don't have the fortunate access to whatever resources they want. She said:

"I was (thinking) like what if I didn't have that? What if I didn't have access to great health care? What if I was a mom just sitting there and there was something wrong with my baby and there was nothing I could do about it?"

Unfortunately, that's the case for millions of moms around the country, and around the world. Jennifer should feel very, very lucky she has the means to give her children the best medical treatment they could possibly have.

Thankfully, Emme was okay and nothing was drastically wrong. We can only imagine what was going through her mind!

2011 is the year of Jennifer Lopez.

After a lackluster couple of years, J Lo has returned to prominence.

As proof, digital search agency Accuracast surveryed one billion Google searches from 2004 to the present and J Lo is ranked as the world's great comeback!

Edging out Mariah Carey, Ricky Martin and New Kids On The Block for the top U.S. artist spot, J Lo has been on fire recently.

From American Idol to Fiat to the American Music Awards, the Latin superstar is all over the media and entertainment lexicon.

Even with her marriage woes, she has embraced her second wind.

While you might think Jennifer Lopez would be cruising around in a Fiat, she's actually got a pretty sweet ride already - a tricked out Bentley, fully loaded with everything a diva could need on the road.

Yesterday, however, it was NOT J.Lo spotted cruising around in the car, but her new boyfriend Casper Smart. According to sources close to Casper, Jen lets her boytoy use the car for his own personal use, so long as he takes out the garbage, finishes all his homework keeps on loving her.

And we're happy to say she is back to work on American Idol!

There was some concern that Jennifer Lopez might not return to the show this year, but thankfully, all the pish-posh is behind us and auditions for the next season are in full swing!

This morning, Jennifer arrived at the auditions in Pasadena looking in good spirits as she waved to the fans and contestants waiting in line before heading inside.

This time she's makin' a paycheck with Harman/Kardon.

While a lot of people are yellin' "sell-out," we gotta give it to her — at least she's doing stuff like this WHILE producing the same great art we've always loved from her.

Besides, what's wrong with endorsing things you love? She's got kids… and they need extra Christmas presents this year! LOL!
