An announcement could come as soon as Thursday, so be ready for more updates as more is revealed.
It looks like Sony will not be putting out The Interview at all.
In a statement, the studio said:

WOW! We hate that this is even a debate we're having in our head right now, but we can't help it!
What was the most exciting aspect of Saturday Night Live last night?
Adam Levine showing off his deliciously seksi and tattoo'd pecs…or the much-anticipated, long-awaited, Digital Short return of Andy Samberg and The Lonely Island?!
Whatever! Obviously, last night was a WIN/WIN for the sketch comedy series!
But don't take our word for it!
Just check out all of the glory from the Maroon5 frontman's opening monologue, during which he receives some Voice-inspired "coaching" from the aforementioned SNL alum, Cameron Diaz and Jerry Seinfeld (above) as well as an explanation as to why he was dressed as a hobo last week with the HIGHlarious "YOLO" song also featuring Kendrick Lamar; the AH-MAY-ZING Catfish sketch; and what would happen if The Sopranos took a page out of The Carrie Diaries format…AFTER THE JUMP!!!
Who Billy Crystal is on first!
Thursday night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy gathered a few of his famous pals to revisit Abbott & Costello's classic Who's On First? routine.
FINALLY viewers get to meet the team's first-baseman "Who," second-baseman "What," and third-baseman "I Don't Know." Press "PLAY" (above) to give yourself an old-timey chuckle.
Easily the best vaudeville act we've seen since Gypsy!
Best cover ever? Best coverS ever!
America's reigning Kaiser of comedy, Mr. Judd Apatow, served as the guest editor on January's issue of Vanity Fair magazine. And as far as we can tell, it's the sh*t!
To make this issue Super Badass, Judd got all his pals (aka the most HIGHlariooous bitches in Hollywood) to make an appearance in and on the cover of his one-off shot at magazine editing.
The list includes the stars of Apatow's upcoming film, This Is 40; Paul Rudd, Megan Fox, Leslie Mann, and Melissa McCarthy — along with no-names like Jim Carrey, Will Ferrell, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Kristen Wiig, and Ben Stiller!
The thought of all those comics in one room is making us very excited… about reading this… but also sexually.
Ch-ch-check out our personal fave of the three covers (above) and the other two star-studded lay-outs (below)!

Michael Richards is still alive! (And nuts!)
We haven't seen hide or pompadoured hair of Cosmo Kramer since he infamously lashed out at an African-Amrican heckler during a stand up set at the Laugh Factory seven years ago!
For those of you who don't remember: he said something lovely like, "Fifty years ago we'd have you upside down with a f*cking fork up your ass."
Understandably, he was pretty much shunned and shut out of the entertainment industry never to be seen again… UNTIL NOW!
He seems VERY remorseful… and just a little out of his mind.
Watch the whole episode (above), oooooor skip to the 14 minute mark to hear Michael talk about the N-word debacle!
Who said sleepovers are just for kids?
Sources say Gyllenhaal was in town to
watch scary movies, play Ask Zandar and prank call the neighbors attend a screening of his latest film, End Of Watch, so he needed a place to crash.
The sitcom star and his wife Jessica happily provided roof to go over the movie star's seksi head and even
Someone's been watching that 'Cigar Store Indian' episode of Seinfeld too many times!
Matt Lauer, who is always the classiest of gentlemen (Ha!), was the butt of an underwear-themed joke on the Today show this morning, when Meredith Vieira gifted him a pair of Stella McCartney ladies underwear.
In response, Matt essentially calls Meredith a slut, and when she tries to take the underwear back, he calls her a VERY inappropriate phrase (above).
Sexist commentary aside, way to use an ignorant, completely archaic, and utterly racist term Matt Lauer. Jerry Seinfeld making light of the phrase in the 90s doesn't make it cute…
And this is a world-travelled journalist? Awesome.
He's back coming back to
TV work being on camera!
Like a sneaky-sneakster, Jerry waited to reveal what's behind his "mystery project" until he had shot multiple episodes. That day is TODAY!
The project is…. Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee!
It's a web series about… well, comedians in cars getting coffee. LOL!
Ch-Ch-Check out the promo to see what other celebs will be getting a ride from Jerry!
