David Letterman's final show on Wednesday night brought in his biggest ratings since 1994!
That's a major coup in the late night wars for CBS as they said goodbye to the funny man's 33-year late night career.
In fact, the Late Show with David Letterman registered a 4.1 rating in the coveted age 25-54 demographic, and in the 18-49 demographic Letterman logged a 3.1 rating.
Farewell in retirement, David, and congrats on going out on a high note!

David Letterman's 33-year reign as the King of Late Night has officially come to an end!
On Wednesday, the TV host signed off from his show, The Late Show, for the last time. We knew his farewell would be one to remember — but we didn't realize we'd have to hold back tears!
The 16-time Emmy winner made sure his send off was both star-studded and incredibly touching! AH-Mazing!

David Letterman has been a staple of late night TV ever since he took the desk back in 1993, and now he's being honored in the best way possible.
For Dave's final episode on CBS, we got to see the best bits of his 22 years as host, including an excellent opening monologue and some of his most famous interviews.
But not only was the episode about remembering his best moments, it was also about creating some memorable TV!
A ton of famous faces came out to support Dave; including President Barack Obama and the three POTUSs before him, as well as Tina Fey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Barbara Walters, and Chris Rock, just to name a few.
It was such an amazing way to celebrate Dave, and we're really going to miss him in late night, but we're excited to see what Stephen Colbert and his team can do in the slot!

The shindig went down at businessman Jim Goldstein's Los Angeles home, where Leo along with other stars like Beyoncé, Jay Z, Naomi Campbell, Mick Jagger, Paris Hilton, Jim Carrey, and Bill Murray partied the night away until 5am the next day!
