Remember when everyone was up in arms when a reported staff member at Manhattan's Yorkville Endoscopy clinic claimed that Joan Rivers' personal doctor took a selfie with the comedienne while she was under anesthesia?
Well, Dr. Gwen Korovin, is saying she did no such thing at all!
Sources close to the doctor said the ENT Specialist made it very clear that the story CNN reported is completely false and that their source is just "making up lies."
Dr. Gwen also said she did not perform a biopsy on the late comedienne but did not say if she performed any other procedures on her.
Well, it sounds like we could believe her. Several of her own patients have come forward to say what a great doctor Dr. Gwen is.
With an "unblemished" track record, why would any doctor do something so deplorable as to take a selfie with an unconscious patient and tarnish their good name??

Joan Rivers was a true icon and it's only fitting that's how she was portrayed in her last photo shoot.
Posing for W magazine's 'The New Royals' issue, she gave her best smolder and even some sass for her editorial! Of course, it didn't lack glamour either!
The "Queen of Comedy" — as the magazine dubbed her — was decked out in diamonds from her lobes to her wrists, like only she could pull off!
But the black and white shot also captured her fun loving nature, with the finger-biting pose.
Joan truly shined and it's clear to see that her beauty really popped off the page. Flawless!

Melissa Rivers is feeling the love in this obviously emotional time.
For the first time since Joan Rivers's funeral, Melissa has spoken out about the overwhelming response of love and kindness by fans of Joan around the world.
Here's what she posted on the late comedienne's Facebook page:
Aww so sweet!
While we think everyday should be "Joan Day", E! is actually naming this Friday, September 19th after comedienne Joan Rivers!
The network will be clearing its schedule to honor the icon, airing a full marathon of Fashion Police with episodes including her 80th birthday celebration, and even the last episode she ever filmed.
And to really commemorate Joan, Melissa Rivers will be joining the FP co-hosts, Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic, and George Kotsiopoulos, for a 90-minute special, celebrating the incredible life she lived.
Featuring never-before-aired footage, behind-the-scenes clips, among many other memorable moments from the icon, we're sure the TV tribute will touch hearts when it airs later that night.
Plus, what better way to honor Joan than by sharing a laugh over some of her best jokes and red carpet moments???

This will surely be one helluva book.
Joan Rivers' death garnered a lot of attention because of her legendary status as one of Hollywood's funniest and most daring comediennes.
So it should really come as no surprise to hear that a Joan Rivers biography is already in the works.
Joan Rivers: A Life has been acquired by Little, Brown and Company and will be written by New York Times journalist Leslie Bennetts.
The book is being described as "the definitive book about Rivers's tumultuous, victorious, tragic, glamorous, and fascinating life" and will be slated for a 2016 release date.
It will also be released as an audio book by Hachette Audio and as an eBook.
Little, Brown editor-in-chief Judy Clain commented:
Print media may be on its way out, but People magazine had three very special issues in the last few weeks that brought readers back.
On an average week, People sells about 822,000 issues.
The exclusive wedding photos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt (for which the mag reportedly paid a cool $2 mil) kicked that average up to about one million issues.
The tribute issue to Robin Williams did even better, selling about 1.2 million copies.
But Joan Rivers outsold them all. The cover story of her legendary life sold over 1.3 million issues! That's an increase of over 60%!
We figure beating Brangelina is just about as Hollywood as you can get. And it's just what Joan would have wanted.

This is absolutely horrendous.
According to a staff member at Manhattan's Yorkville Endoscopy clinic, Joan Rivers' personal doctor allegedly took a selfie in the middle of the procedure room while Joan had been under anesthesia.
Another doctor, Dr. Lawrence Cohen, then performed the endoscopy she had been scheduled for.
After the endoscopy, Joan's personal doctor (an ear, nose and throat specialist uncertified by the clinic) allegedly performed an unauthorized biopsy without Joan's consent, according to the staff member.
During this alleged biopsy is when Joan reportedly experienced cardiac arrest, according to the source.
If these allegations are true, we'd be shocked and disgusted at the level unprofessional incompetence on the part of her personal doctor.
