Thank God he's not our president!

John Edward's former mistress , Rielle Hunter, is demanding a DNA test to confirm that he is indeed the father of her 14-month-old child. This need for definitive proof comes on the heels of Edward's wife, Elizabeth's book release, in which she slams Hunter for her actions.

The Enquirer explains that this sudden change of heart also stems from Hunter no longer caring to the protect the good name of the politician. A source tells them that "Rielle - probably naively - now realizes she had held onto a false promise that if she continued to take part in the cover-up John had engineered, they'd be together in the future."

Edwards continues to deny that he is the baby's father.

Only one way to really know for sure. Let's see you man up and take the test, huh?

Oprah made the trek from Chicago to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, for a sit down interview with the terminally ill Elizabeth Edwards set to air this Thursday!

Elizabeth is currently promoting her memoir Resilience, set to hit bookstore shelves on May 12th.

Oprah chatted with the wife of former senator and presidential hopeful John Edwards about her husband's infidelity, but questions mentioning her husband's illegitimate baby momma Rielle Hunter by name were off-limits in the interview!

The Big O popped the big question we've all been wondering: "Are you still in love with him?"

"You know, that's a complicated question," Elizabeth truthfully answered in the interview.

"Is it a day by day thing?" Oprah continued.

Explained Edwards, who is battling cancer, "Neither one of us is out the door so I guess it's day by day, but maybe it's month by month."

As far as Hunter naming John as the father of the illegitimate love child, Elizabeth danced around the claim of her husband being the father!

"I've seen a picture of the baby. I have no idea. It doesn't look like my children but I don't have any idea," Edwards clarified to Oprah.

Although there hasn't been a paternity test to determine John as the biological father, how could she ignore such blatant evidence????

Elizabeth Edwards' much-hyped new memoir, Resilience, hits bookstore shelves on May 12th, and the wife of the cheating presidential hopeful John Edwards didn't stifle her feelings when discussing her husband's affair!

Juicy!

The terminally ill Edwards - battling cancer - describes the moment her husband told her of his infidelities in detail, "I cried and screamed, I went to the bathroom and threw up."

Poor Elizabeth!

Even though she never mentions her husband's mistress,Rielle Hunter's name, once in the book, she illustrates Hunter as "pathetic," and a "parasitic groupie who invaded the Edwardses' life."

John had informed Elizabeth of his affair with his illegitimate babymomma in 2006, and Elizabeth even urged her husband to drop out of the presidential race before he found himself in the middle of a public cheating scandal!

How right was she?!

The most shocking decision Elizabeth has made throughout this ordeal, to us at least, is to remain by her husband's side! "I lie in bed, circles under my eyes, my sparse hair sticking in too many directions, and he looks at me as if I am the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. It matters," writes Edwards on the topic of her forgiveness.

Having the ability to forgive is an admirable quality!

Though former Senator and Presidential wannabe John Edwards denies paternity, the new photo of former miistress Rielle Hunter and daughter Frances Quinn Hunter from her first birthday speaks for itself.

Sources are now saying that ex-lover Rielle is upset about a self-help book that Elizabeth Edwards is to begin pushing in May called Resilience: Reflections on the Burdens and Gifts of Facing Life's Adversities, which is said to address her husbands extramarital affair. It is unknown, however, if Elizabeth knows or acknowledges that John might be the father.

Rielle, however, seems to be handling the situation with a quiet dignity, seeking neither publicity nor aid from the Edwards, or so her "camp" would like us to believe.

But, with Elizabeth about to embark upon a book tour and John said to be preparing a speaking tour at universities and organizations, friends of Rielle are saying that she might begin speaking up.

Duhramah!!!!

We wonder how anyone could ignore the photo, though! The resemblance is undeniable!

Cheater and compulsive liar John Edwards manned the eff up and has finally admitted to his wife that he's indeed the father of his rumored love child, according to The National Enquirer.

Uh, duh!!

Nothing we didn't already know!

The ex-Senator and former presidential hopeful decided to clear his conscience after hearing that baby mama and mistress Rielle Hunter is attempting to publish a tell-all spilling the deets on the affair.

Rielle is rushing to release the book and tell her side of the story before John Edwards' wife, Elizabeth Edwards, publishes her inspirational book in May - detailing the struggles the cancer-stricken Elizabeth has withstood over the years!

Although John initially told Elizabeth he wasn't the father, the cheater is hoping by telling the truth to his wife that it will kill Hunter's urge to go public with the ex-senator's dirty laundry. Doubt it.

What a scumbag!!

Elizabeth Edwards made some waves this week when she showed up to a DC forum dedicated to healthcare sans her wedding ring.

Well, now an insider reports that John the cheater and Elizabeth no longer live together AND they've separated.

Elizabeth's reps have yet to confirm the snitch's claims.

But, good for her! She's too good for that good-for-nothing ass.

Disgraced former presidential candidate, douchebag supremo John Edwards, just announced that he's canceling all public appearances until after the November election because he doesn't want to be "a distraction."

Through his booking agency, the Democrat issued this statement:

"Nothing is more important than electing Barack Obama and Joe Biden. I don't want my appearance at these events to be a distraction from the important issues of the election, or from the important purpose of these meetings."

Johnny E. must be so relieved that the heat's off him for the moment.

The National Enquirer is distracted for the time being by Sarah Palin's alleged affair!

Too little, too late, John Edwards!

Adulterer and liar Johnny has been calling ex-staffers and supporters, asking for forgiveness. But the only thing he's apparently getting back are cold shoulders and heaping piles of shiz thrown his way!

According to the NY Daily News, some ignore phone outreach efforts and don't call back - even when Edwards leaves follow-up messages.

A few supposedly return his calls only to give him a piece of their angry minds.

When Edwards reportedly reached one longtime confidant asking for advice, he was cut off with a terse, "I don't want you to call me again."

Looks like someone's getting what they deserve!

It's making sense now!

Madonna's not the only one with a Judas in the fam.

Were you wondering how the National Enquirer was able to get such a good picture of John Edwards' mistress, Rielle Hunter, holding their alleged love child for their latest cover?

We sure were!

No, Rielle did not sit for a photo shoot with the tabloid, but it looks like one of her sisters sold her down the river!

Fox News reports that the photo of Rielle and babe was taken by one of Hunter’s two sisters, either Roxanne or Melissa.

Roxanne, who lives in North Carolina, already has been identified as a source for previous Enquirer stories.

She and Rielle had not spoken for 15 years prior to the Edwards scandal.

However, sister Melissa has so far been regarded as the loyal sister, who would 'never' sell out Rielle for money.

Regardless, one of them took the picture and it's now on the cover of the tabloid.

Maybe it was Rielle herself who leaked it for a good payday??
