John Edwards To Marry Mistress Weeks After Wife's Death????

john-edwards-proposes-to-rielle-hunter

We sincerely hope this isn't true. Because if it is, it's absolutely disgusting.

The National Enquirer is reporting that now that Elizabeth Edwards has passed away, John Edwards has already asked mistress Rielle Hunter to marry him.

No other real details yet, but as we stated, this is a whole new level of inappropriate - and all-around low, if in fact true.

Bleck.

Well, we guess we'll find out sooner or later.

Thoughts??

The Last Will & Testament Of Elizabeth Edwards Released

Filed under: R.I.P. > Sad Sad > John Edwards

elizabeth-edwards-last-will-and-testament.jpg

So sad.

Just six days before her untimely death, Elizabeth Edwards signed off on her will that this morning has finally been released.

Her eldest daughter Catharine, a lawyer, is named as executor of the will and after reading the document, we've learned she left everything to her three children. Quoting Elizabeth straight from the document, she said:

"All of my furniture, furnishings, household goods, jewelry, china, silverware and personal effects and any automobiles owned by me at the time of my death, I give and bequeath to my children."

Eveything else, she left to Catharine. Her ex-husband, John Edwards, was left nothing and was never even mentioned in the will.

Bet that stings a bit. Not that she didn't leave him anything, mind you, but we think it sends a pretty strong message that she didn't even mention him. Just goes to show how much he really hurt her.

Three days after losing her battle with breast cancer, Elizabeth Edwards was laid to rest Saturday at a North Carolina church.

John Edwards and their three children were joined by more than 1,200 mourners at the funeral service. Their oldest daughter Cate delivered the eulogy to her mother, saying:

"She has been a light house to all of us. She's always been that source of light to us. Every lesson she has taught us has become part of our ethic."

She was such a brave woman. May she rest in peace.

Is John Edwards' Mistress Already Trying To Marry Him?

john-edwards-mistress-rielle-hunter-ready-to-marry-him-after-wifes-death

There's no other way to describe this. It's just deplorable.

Not even a day after Elizabeth Edwards six-year-long battle with cancer ended with her passing, estranged husband John's mistress, Rielle Hunter, is allegedly making moves to marry the shamed politician!

A source explains:

"Rielle has been very patient through all of this. She still believes that John is her soul mate, and she thinks that they're going to get married. She doesn't care about anyone but herself. She's been selfish and horrible this whole time, no matter what else has been said about her. She will say nice things about Elizabeth, but only if it makes her look good."

This makes us sick to even think about.

We suppose there are just no limits to how low some people will go.

Disgusting.

Aaron Sorkin Takes On John Edwards

wenn1868757.jpg

Famed screenwriter Aaron Sorkin purchased the rights to Andrew Young's The Politician: An Insider's Account of John Edwards's Pursuit of the Presidency and the Scandal That Brought Him Down.

Not only will the scribe write and produce the feature film, but it will serve as his directorial debut.

Sorkin said:

"This is a first-hand account of an extraordinary story filled with motivations, decisions and consequences that would have lit Shakespeare up. There's much more to Andrew's book than what has been reported, and I'm grateful that he's trusting me with it."

A political drama could not be any more of Sorkin! Amazing.

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

And we're sure she'll have some inneresting tidbits to share!

Elizabeth Edwards has granted the Today show her first TV interview since the separation from her husband of 30 years, John Edwards.

In the segment, which will air Thursday morning, Elizabeth is candid with Matt Lauer about her failed marriage. She even likens herself to Sandra Bullock.

She said:

"I think about Sandra Bullock … . And yet, the stories you hear are not about all those great successes, but about the failure of her marriage. … I thought that's not who she is. I don't know her but I assume she wants to reclaim who she is in the same way I want to reclaim who I am

I think he [John] changed over time. I think it was sort of hard for me to see it or admit it for a very long time. But he changed. … And he's no longer the person who I married. I still admire an enormous number of things about him."

Watch the clip (above) for a sneak peek!

Aww. Ugh, you can't help but feel for her. Stay strong, honey.

Elizabeth Edwards Denies Custody Rumors

ap071105031620ee.jpg

Elizabeth Edwards is battling terminal breast cancer, but denies that she is trying to ensure custody of her two youngest children will go to her eldest daughter Cate.

Rumors were flying that Elizabeth was grooming Cate, a 28-year-old Harvard-educated lawyer, for raising her younger siblings Emma, 12 and Jack, 10 after their mother had passed in order to keep the children from her husband John Edwards and his mistress Rielle Hunter.

"The story is not true," Elizabeth said. She also said that no other family members would get the children and that they would go to John.

Such a sad situation all around.

John Edwards Ready To Submit Plea Bargain!

wenn5170162edwards__opt.jpg

Good! Time to fess up, douchebag!

Disgusting cheat John Edwards, who is this close to being indicted for stealing his presidential campiagn money to give to his mistress, Rielle Hunter, is now reportedly ready to cop a plea deal in hopes to avoid jail time!

A source says:

"John does not want to be indicted - and he certainly doesn't want to go to jail! It appears he's willing to cop to a misdemeanor charge. He's asking to keep his law license. The prosecutors have put the screws to him - and it appears he will admit some guilt."

Edwards has long maintained that he was innocent. LIES.

What an unbelievable dick. Hopefully they can let him fess up and still find a way to throw his ass behind bars!

Thoughts??
