John Galliano is not letting his cancelled Parsons workshop get him down.

The designer is scheduled for a major interview with Vanity Fair magazine, and now there are reports that he may be doing a TV interview with Charlie Rose of PBS as well.

His publicist, Liz Rosenberg, quickly shut down the rumor, saying:

"There are no plans in place regarding TV appearances for John at this time."

Then again, publicists always deny before it all comes out as true anyway. They just want us off the scent!

Plus, Rose's executive producer, Yvette Vega, seemed interested in the idea of a possible Galliano interview. She said:

Despite his recent Parsons cancellation, John Galliano has been slowly reemerging ever since he was fired from Dior two years ago for his controversial Hitler remarks.

Now the designer is finally ready to open up about the incident in a new interview with Vanity Fair.

Hmm…maybe this is why he cancelled.

In the magazine's July issue, he will talk about the remorse he felt and his hopeful plan to return to design. While most of the details have been kept under wraps, it will be interesting to get an inside look into how his career has changed over the past two years.

In fact, even his publicist Liz Rosenberg is in the dark about the interview, revealing that she has "no idea because I haven’t seen the article, adding, "I don’t know if there’s a slant."

Hmm, we'd be interested to know. And, you better believe we'll be picking up a copy when the July issue hits shelves.

John Galliano's highly anticipated workshop at Parsons The New School for Design has been cancelled and it's all his fault!

Apparently Galliano refused to participate in the three-day "Show Me Emotion" master class, which included a "frank conversation" with BFA students about his career, because he didn't want to answer questions about the infamous comments that got him fired from Dior.

On Tuesday, Parsons informed students the workshop's been axed, explaining in a lengthy email:

John Galliano may not be attending the Met Gala tonight, but he's got the punk theme DOWN!

The designer and Parsons professor hung out with Vogue's Grace Coddington in Manhattan on Sunday, looking as cray as you'd expect in a cable-knit sweater vest, plaid and camouflage shorts, and knit knee socks worn with sandals.

And despite her poufy, flame-red hair, Grace managed to fade into the background in her slouchy black slacks and double-breasted coat.

Although, who wouldn't when standing next to John???

We're definitely sad that the former Dior designer won't be at the Met Ball tonight, since so many of his cutting-edge designs are going to be on display, but apparently that would mean taking one too many steps.

His publicist Liz Rosenberg put it thusly:

"One step at a time, and that’s one huge mother f - - kin’ staircase.”

Well, we're sure John and his peeps know what's best for him!

More than two years after being fired from Christian Dior, John Galliano is once again an employed man — but it's not for a fashion house!

The designer will be teaching a 3 day workshop at Parsons The New School for Design for seniors in the BFA fashion program called "Show Me Emotion", where students will explore the power of emotion and design.

The school released a statement, saying:

This is getting a little fishy!!!

Remember how that Isreali Eurovision contestant was supposedly banned from wearing a John Galliano dress on the show?

Well, that ban might be hard to enforce because Galliano flat out denies ever agreeing to design a dress!

Last week Moran Mazor told a radio station her stylist, Gili Algabi, reached out to several designers, but John's publicist Liz Rosenberg says there was never any "official correspondence" between her client or the stylist.

Rosenberg said in an email:

Everyone was taken by surprise when John Galliano took up a three week residency with Oscar de la Renta during New York Fashion Week, and it sounds like it wasn't just a one time thing.
