How uncomfy sweet - Grandpa John McCain is still hitting on Snooki!

AWKWARD!

The good ole senator was on a Phoenix-based radio station this morning when he was asked to comment on his favorite tanner's, Jersey Shore's Snooki, recent arrest. He voiced his concerned for his lone supporter, then went on to say:

"I kind of think she might be too good looking to go to jail."

Wow! Did Hugh Hefner help you come up with that line, Johnny????

You need to ease up on the flirting just a smidge there, sir. We're fairly certain you don't have enough juice to fulfill her needs!

Look Who Is On Guys With iPhones!!

78777082jb.jpg

HIGHlarious!

John McCain somehow found his way on the sometimes porno-licious site GuysWithiPhone.com!!

As you can see, he doesn't show any skin, which we think everyone can agree is for the best!!

ALSO - grandpa is modernized enough to have an iPhone but he can't see that 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' is ridiculous?!

Lame!

Defense Officials Move To Repeal 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell!'

ap100201110671.jpg

The nation's top defense officials declared yesterday that they are moving forward with the plan to repeal the US military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy that would mean gay men and women to serve their country openly. Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Joint Chiefs Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen have requested a year to study the impact of such a decision before Congress would lift the policy.

Mullen spoke about the controversial policy at the Senate hearing.

"No matter how I look at the issue, I cannot escape being troubled by the fact that we have in place a policy which forces young men and women to lie about who they are in order to defend their fellow citizens. For me, it comes down to integrity – theirs as individuals and ours as an institution."

Beautifully spoken!! And so right on all counts!!

Although President Barack Obama has endorsed the 11 month review of how to lift the ban, there is no deadline to end the policy. Gates, however, plans to to loosen the enforcement of the rule in the meantime. If the policy is repealed, it would be the largest change to the military since President Truman integrated the services in 1948!!!

However, as to be expected, many Republicans on the Senate Armed Services Committee were strongly against the proposition for change, including Senator John McCain, who claimed to be "deeply disappointed" and claiming the assesment to be "clearly biased" in presuming the law should be changed.

Well, we're 'deeply disappointed' that that your 'clearly biased' bigotry is affecting your ability to reason rationally! Not that we're surprised!!

We think that Colorado Senator Mark Udall, who quoted Senator Barry Goldwater, said it best:

"You don't have to be straight to shoot straight."

AGREED! We're thrilled that there are so many officials - including some Republicans!! - fighting the good fight in Washington, DC!! It's time to end this silly, hate-fueled policy!!

What do U think?? Should 'don't ask, don't tell' be repealed??

On The End "Don't Ask, Don't Tell"

ap03110609697jb.jpg

Well, it's about time!!

The Pentagon is ALMOST READY to take the necessary steps to have the disgusting "don't ask, don't tell" policy repealed, which forces homosexuals to hide their orientation if in the military.

Defense Secretery Robert Gates and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen, are reportedly working on an "implementation plan" to present to US lawmakers, which will detail what the Pentagon will have to do before the White House and Congress work to get rid of the RIDICULOUS law.

President Barack Obama said on Wednesday during his first State of the Union speech,

"This year, I will work with Congress and our military to finally repeal the law that denies gay Americans the right to serve the country they love because of who they are."

Well said!! Of course, Senator John McCain's heart stopped and he nearly fell down dead when heard this, but recovered and went on to say,

"I believe it would be a mistake to repeal the policy. This successful policy has been in effect for over 15 years and it is well understood and predominantly supported by our military at all levels."

If you mean successful in taking away people's rights and perpetuating hate, then you're completely, 100% correct! Congratulations!

This is very exciting news! But we're going to remain cautiously optimistic until it actually goes through!

May freedom ring!!!!

McCain's Wife Believes In Marriage Equality!

Filed under: Gay Gay Gay > John McCain

Amazing!

If only we could get this kind of response from our First Lady!

Cindy McCain, mother of vocal marriage equality advocate Meghan McCain and wife to Senator John McCain, has come forward as part of the NOH8 campaign to take a stand for marriage equality.

We couldn't be more pleased to see Cindy take part in this issue because her support proves the one point we've always tried to promote. This is a human rights issue. It has nothing to do with being a Democrat or Republican. It is about seeing AMERICANS treated equally by law!

Bravo, Cindy! Welcome to the cause!

Cindy McCain's Head Issues!

Filed under: John McCain > Cindy McCain

wenn2094482.jpg

Before addressing the International Headache Congress (really?!) later this month, Cindy McCain is opening up about her 15 year secret struggle with migraines in hopes to inspire research.

Although it was once difficult to find the words for her pain, the Crypt Keeper tried to use a term she felt her once POW husband, John McCain, would understand.

"Torture," said Cindy. "Being tied to a chair for four days. I can't imagine how unbearable that pain must have been, but yeah, I can, because a migraine may come close."

She downplayed her pain for years because she didn't want to bother her family, along with keeping in mind John's immense suffering during his five year captivity in Hanoi.

WTF?!

"There were times when I felt a little bit inadequate with my pain problem," she admits. "But I had to get over that because I didn't live in John's shoes and he didn't live in mine. He doesn't always understand [migraines] but he knows they are real."

Life in the McCain household must be just like his presidential campaign! You make one wrong move and you get a tirade about being a prisoner of war!

It also turns out that Cindy's frail frame and designer glasses on the campaign trail were not an attempt to be a Stepford wife, but the result of how much she was suffering during that time.

"Some people gain weight during times of stress but I lose weight. I was way too thin," she said of dropping down to 100 lbs. on her 5'7" frame. "Whenever I had those huge dark glasses on, that was always a sign. Sunglasses are a migraine sufferer's best friend."

We're no doctor, but injected botulism to the face probably doesn't help!

The True American Heroes Are????

Filed under: Barack Obama > John McCain

obama__opt.jpg

So who does America look to in times of troubles?

According to the Harris Poll, which gathered data online from Americans over the age of 18 with an open-ended survey, the heroes list was topped by Barack Obama, Jesus Christ, and Martin Luther King, Jr.

That's good company the new Prez is in!

Those three were followed by, in descending order, Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, Abraham Lincoln, John McCain, John F. Kennedy, Chesley Sullenberger, and Mother Teresa.

McCain Does Not Want To See The View

wenn-mccain.jpg

John McCain did not appreciate his visit to The View last year, despite Hasselbitch's undying devotion.

Barbara Walters encountered the Senator at a recent dinner in Washington, D.C.

Babs recounts, "When we walked out and I saw him I said, 'Senator, so nice to see you. I hope you'll come on The View again.' And he looked at me and said, 'Not anytime soon.'"

We're sure he meant to say, "Not on your life, bitch," but it probably would have made Barbara explode and that would have ruined the dinner for everyone.

Rumor has it Elizabitch cried herself to sleep upon hearing the news.
