Oh man! This is going to be absolutely fantastic!

Tony winners Harvey Fierstein and Marissa Jaret Winokur will reportedly be reprising their original Broadway company roles as Edna and Tracy Turnblad in the upcoming Hollywood Bowl summer production of Hairspray, which will be directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell!

Meanwhile, Drew Carey will take on the role of Wilbur Turnblad, Nick Jonas will be playing Link Larkin, John Stamos is Corny Collins, and Corbin Blue will play Seaweed! Diana DaGarmo, Mo Gaffney, Darlene Love, and Tara Macri also star in the production, which will run from August 5th-7th!

This really is so, SO exciting!

We wonder who will fill out the rest of the cast!

Not that it matters! We can't wait to see this just as is!

What do U think?? Will U go see the Hollywood Bowl's Hairspray?

John Stamos Goes Indie, Stars In New Music Video

Way to get depressing on us, Stamos!

Check out Minnesota-based indie rock group Low's Try to Sleep music video (above) which stars the one and only Uncle Jesse Dr. Carl Howell John Stamos!

Why is Mr. Stamos in a music video for a Minnesota-based indie band, you might ask?

Here's John on why he took on this role:

"I'm actually good friends with their producer Matt Beckley, and he had played me some of the record while they were making it. When it came time for them to cast the video, they asked if I'd like to be involved. I liked the concept. The new record is on all the time at my place."

We like the concept too, John…although it's pretty sad stuff. The end of that video almost got us as teary-eyed as the series finale of Full House. Keyword = ALMOST.

What do U think of John Stamos' performance in this music video?

John Stamos Has A Happy St. Paddy's Day

john-stamos-at-fred-segal.jpg

Since he's not wearing green, we get to pinch him, right??

The original Zac Efron was looking mighty fine as he met some friends for a St. Patrick's Day lunch at Fred Segal on Thursday.

John Stamos is like a fine wine. He just gets better with age…

For The Record: Uncle Jesse Doesn't Want Your Job, Charlie Sheen

john-stamos-no-two-and-half-men.jpg

Not now, not ever. He's good right where he is.

John Stamos was briefly rumored to be the top-pick replacement for Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men, and ever since then, no one has shut up about it. This morning, John hoped to put the situation to rest by speaking with Ryan Seacrest on his morning show and clearing the air once and for all. He explained to Ryan that the talk has "been very flattering, but nobody has officially talked to me and, quite frankly, as flattering as it is, it's really not part of my career plan right now. I'm just on a different trajectory."

He then added:

"I don't want to replace anyone, especially Charlie Sheen. It's just not where my head is at."

That's probably for the best.

Besides, between Glee and Law & Order: SVU, you are far too busy for another show.

Time to target someone else, Charlie. Who is your next victim going to be???

Charlie Sheen Apologizes To John Stamos

Filed under: John Stamos > Charlie Sheen

It must be all that tiger's blood.

Charlie Sheen has apologized to John Stamos and has given him his blessing to go ahead and do Two And A Half Men if offered the job.

Shown in yet another random local news interview Wednesday night, Charlie Sheen said:

"I was out of line and you are a beautiful man, and a talented man and if you get the gig…we should talk."

Hmm, we wonder what those two could possibly talk about…winners, goddesses, taking over Twitter…

Charlie Sheen Never Sleeps, Does ANOTHER Random Radio Interview - And It's A Doozy!

Charlie Sheen Diapers

Charlie Sheen continued his never ending media blitz Wednesday morning with an interview on the Karson and Kennedy radio show.

Does this guy ever sleep?

Oh wait, we forgot. He doesn't sleep, he waits.

When asked how he was doing this morning by the hosts, a chipper Charlie answered:

"Awesome. How else should I be doing? The wildfires are spreading. The meek are scattering."

"Awesome" isn't exactly the word we would use to describe ourselves after our kids were taken away by the police, but hey, we don't have any tigers blood running through our veins.

In the interview, Charlie said he is "setting an example" for his cast and crew, whom should all consider themselves lucky because he revealed he's "taking care of the crew, the cast, and then me. In that order."

When asked about the rumors they plan on replacing him on the show, Charlie responded:

"Whatever. Go for it. I'm free, I'll go make movies and win Academy Awards. I don't give a shit."

Right.

He did have some kind words to say about his rumored replacement John Stamos, saying, "He's a beautiful man and I'm sure he'll do a great job."

But THEN, he continues, "At this point, what I really want to do, I don't really care. I just want to get the show back on the air with me, so it stays on a winning team."

For a guy "living inside the truth", you sure do contradict yourself a lot!

There was one nugget of humanity we heard come out of his lips when asked whether he would shelter his kids from his behavior. Although he's not worried about them seeing any of these erratic interviews, he does go on to say:

"I would shelter them from some of my past behavior, absolutely. I'd say, 'Do not do this guys. Trust me, it almost killed me. Don't do it. I can tell you the greatest stories in the world because I survived it, but that's as close as you need to get to it.'"

Although everyone (ourselves included) seems completely obsessed with following this man's tirades, he insists:

"I'm not trying to make this into a show. I'm just different and this is how I roll and I've been blessed with a new brain and I'm using it. Sorry."

As for all of those profiting from all the t-shirts and websites popping up about Charlie Sheen, the man himself has given them full endorsement, saying:

"I hope the people that made them are getting rich. They deserve it because they're smart enough to grab it, right?"

At least he's cool with being publicly mocked.

In fact, he's really starting to get the hang of it! He even recognized what may be one of his best lines yet mid sentence while talking about those trying to reach out and help him, saying:

"I watch all of you weep into your diapers in my rear view mirror, but — okay, that was a pretty good line."

Keep the Sheenisms coming, Charlie, although we don't think they are helping you get your show back.
