TomKat Celebate with Travolta Family At Secret Scientology Event

wenn2224641__opt.jpg

Guess this means John Travolta really hasn't turned his back on the practice.

This past weekend, a massive gathering of Scientologists occurred in England to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the International Association of Scientologists. In attendance was the Cruise Family, Tom, Katie Holmes and little Suri, along with some unexpected faces - John Travolta and Kelly Preston.

Tom took to the stage during the festivities to give a little speech, ala Troy Bolton, proclaiming that "We are in this together!" (but only if you are a Scientologist.)

Though Tom showed an abundance of enthusiasm, his wife did not, as an attendee observed the family when the choir took to the stage to sing:

"Tom was swaying and looked like he was in heaven. He was really, really into it. Katie was next to him doing her best to look as enthusiastic. She was clapping along with the song, but was totally out of sync. Suri was standing by, looking a little bemused in a cute little party dress."

As for John and Kelly, who were seated nearby, the couple remained very quiet throughout the evening, clearly still in mourning over the death of their son, Jett. And onlooker reveals:

"John and Kelly were holding hands throughout the performance. They look like a very united couple."

Perhaps the event provided them with some solace. We hope so, if it did nothing else.

John Travolta Hasn't Given Up On Scientology

wenn53581902__opt.jpg

Though many have speculated otherwise, sources close to John Travolta insist that the actor still holds true to his beliefs in Scientology, even after acknowledging his son's battle with autism.

When John testified in the recent Bahamina extortion case, he publicly announced that his late son, Jett Travolta, was autistic. This was the first public stance he had taken on the issue, as Scientology does not believe in the illness.

Breaking his silence on the issue has left some of the leaders in the Scientology community unhappy, but John remains "firmly committed" to the Church and we are told that he has admitted to using Scientology as "therapy" in trying to cope with his son's death.

We don't agree with the cause, but if it helps John to cope, we won't begrudge him that. Maybe the head honchos of Scientology should think about doing the same.

Travolta Testifies Again

wenn53581902.jpg

John Travolta is currently in the Bahamas at the trial against paramedic Tarino Lightbourne and former Bahamian Senator, Pleasant Bridgewater.

The two men attempted to extort the Travoltas by demanding money for information they threatened to leak concerning the death of their Autistic son, Jett.

It was revealed that John had signed documents releasing the paramedics from liability so that he could take his son to the airport to seek help in the US. However, reports suggest that John ultimately changed his mind and had them bring him to a local hospital instead.

And now Travolta has returned to the stand to reveal further details about the extortion that took place.

The two douchebags wanted $25 million in hush money. $25 mill!

And the 56-year-old Travolta says he learned indirectly that the two were planning on telling the press it was his fault his son died. That is, unless he paid out the millions.

John said they would "imply that the death of my son was intentional and I was culpable in some way."

How sad.

Let's hope the truth comes out soon and this case gets settled.

John Travolta Acknowledges Son's Autism

jetttravolta2__opt11__opt11.jpg

During today's testimony at the trial of the two men who attempted to extort the actor for $25 million in the Bahamas post tragedy, John Travolta made the first public statement acknowledging his son's illness - autism.

He told the jury that Jett suffered from seizures every 5 to 10 days, stating, "He was autistic. He suffered from a seizure disorder."

According to John, the seizures would last from 45 seconds to a minute.

This must have been a very difficult day for the star, but we wonder if there will be any backlash from the Scientology community, where discussion of developmental disorders is a big no-no.

Stay strong!

John Travolta Wanted To Have Jett Treated In U.S.A

jetttravolta2__opt11__opt1.jpg

As we mentioned earlier, the trial against paramedic Tarino Lightbourne and former Bahamian Senator, Pleasant Bridgewater, the two men who attempted to extort the Travoltas by demanding money for information they threatened to leak concerning the death of their son, Jett, is under way.

It was revealed by the case's first witness, police inspector Andrew Wells, that John Travolta had signed forms releasing the paramedics from liability so that he could take his son to the airport for transport into America. However, reports suggest that John ultimately changed his mind and had them bring him to local hospital instead, but it was there that Jett took his fatal turn.

John is taking the stand today, in what we are sure will be a heart-wrenching and difficult testimony.

Our hearts and best wishes still go out to him and the rest of the family. Hopefully, the trial will end soon and everyone can truly start to heal from thisdevastating loss.

Travolta To Testify

jetttravolta2__opt11__opt.jpg

John Travolta is planning to testify against the men who attempted to extort him for $25 million!

After the death of Travolta's son Jett in the Bahamas earlier this year, Paramedic Tarino Lightbourne and former Bahamian Senator, Pleasant Bridgewater, attempted to extort the Travoltas - demading they pay up $25 mil or a document relating to Jett's treatment would be released to the public.

John and wife Kelly Preston were reportedly "outraged" by the extortion scheme, so Travolta's decision to testify comes to no surprise.

Lock the scumbags up!

Kelly Preston: "It's Just Too Soon"

wenn-kellyprez__opt.jpg

Kelly Preston has decided against speaking about the death of her 16-year-old son, Jett, at a panel during the California Governor’s Conference for Women in October.

Preston had originally agreed to discuss life after she and husband John Travolta lost their son earlier this year at the "Grief & Resilience" panel at the Maria Shriver-hosted event.

Says Kelly: "It is with my sincere apologies that I must pull out from speaking at [the] conference. I am sorry, but I truly believed that I could do it. Otherwise I never would have said that I could. But I am still deeply in the process of healing, and it's just too soon."

So sad.

Maria Shriver, who's organizing the event and whose mother Eunice Kennedy Shriver, passed away earlier this month, has given Preston her "complete support and understanding."

Shriver says:

"Everyone has their own path to healing and their own timetable for grieving. Kelly's presence at The Women's Conference will be missed, but the main stage conversation on grief and resilience with Elizabeth Edwards, Susan Saint James and myself will continue as planned. Having just lost my own mother and my uncle, I believe it's an important and meaningful subject because loss and grief will touch everyone at some point in their lives."

Very well said.

John Travolta Is Still A Scientologist, He Wants You To Know

travolta1.jpg

Despite recent reports that John Travolta had distanced himself from Scientology in the aftermath of his son Jett's passing, Travolta is a Scientologist "now and forever," according to his rep, Paul Bloch.

Travolta, with wife Kelly Preston and daughter Ella Bleu, recently escaped to their oceanfront home in Isleboro, Maine, where the family spent their last Christmas together, just weeks before Jett's death.

The Travolta clan (including acting newbie Ella Bleu) will take the silver screen together in the upcoming comedy Old Dogs, which opens November 25th.

Kelly Preston to Speak About Losing Son

wenn-kellyprez.jpg

Even though we're sure it will be painful, Kelly Preston has decided to open up about the loss of her young son Jett Travolta for the first time at a Women’s conference this fall.

The wife of John Travolta will be joined by John Edward’s wife, cancer sfighter Elizabeth Edwards, and actress Susan St. James, two other famous ladies who tragically lost their children.

The women will speak during the “Grief & Resilience” panel at the California Governor’s Conference for Women, in late October. This will mark the first time that any member of the Travolta family has talked about their family's loss and Maria Shriver, the wife of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and hostess of the event, thinks the forum will be a good experience for Kelly.

Says Maria, “If she can empower one other woman who feels like they can’t get out of bed, or get through the day, whatever the loss, it’ll be worthwhile sharing her story."

We agree.
