So instead of leading by example and spreading joy and peace this Christmas season, some Christian groups are focused on controversy — specifically stirring the pot when it comes to a Johnny Depp tune they denounce as blasphemous.

As soon as some little birdies told Christian Coalition and Focus on the Family to listen to Jesus Stag Night Club by Babybird, they went ballistic!

The song is a story about some men hiring a Jesus look-a-like for a bachelor party. At the end of the night, the Jesus twinkie ends up passed out drunk. But ohp! Come to find out, this is the real Jesus. Dun dun duunnnn….

Now, what does any of this have to do with Johnny Depp?? Well he lent his voice to the tune. So now leaders from the groups are saying:

Omg so remember when Johnny Depp took his kids to an Iggy Pop concert??

Well, obviously he had to take his bodyguards with him. We mean, hello, he's Captain Jack Sparrow!

So at the show there was a woman pAArtying it up at the table right next to his. And apparently she parted a little too much because she stumbled over "accidentally got a little too close" to Johnny's table.

So what happens? According to her, his bodyguard tackled her by grabbing her wrists and wrestling her to the ground.

But as soon as he unhanded her, she left and went to the hospital to get checked out. Omg…really?

Her assistant confirms she was drinking that night. Not only that but law enforcement sources say she seemed WASTED when she filed the report.

Sounds like someone just out for some money if ya ask us!

Hey Johnny? Can you be our daddy?

Coolest dad ever Johnny Depp took 12-year-old daughter Lily Rose and 9-old-son Jack (above) to see rock legend Iggy Pop play a sold-out gig with his band The Stooges at the Hollywood Palladium.

We can't think of many other 12 and 9-year-olds who get to go to rock concerts with their super cool dads!

Lucky kids!!

And how cool is Jack's leather jacket? Man, the Depp family is awesome.

Remember when Scarlett Johansson recorded a song for the Serge Gainsbourg tribute album?

Most of you didn't like her singing, but we're pretty sure you're gonna like this one.

It's Johnny Depp! And his longtime girlfriend/baby-momma Vanessa Paradis.

The duo went to the recording studio to sing Ballade de Melody Nelson in Serge's honor.

Mmm, sultry goodness! We're swirling around in a giant champagne glass right now.

Johnny and Vanessa join Scarlett, Rufus Wainright, and Iggy Pop on the album.

U gotta give it a listen. Play it!!

At least he did on Ricky Gervais' new show with Stephen Merchant and Warwick Davis, Life's Too Short!

We love Johnny and because we care so much about the guy, we have to say something about this..

Johnny Depp prefers flying on private planes because he can smoke on them.

Okay, for starters, "smoking is bad, mmkay." We know he only recently started back up, but it's not exactly the healthiest habit, so we wish he hadn't.

Second, didn't you almost die in a private plane, Johnny? We know commercial flights crash too but eek!

Of course, we totally get the other reason he flies private. So people won't stare him down.
