What's that saying? Distance makes the hot get hotter? No? It's heart grow fonder? Well, either way it totally applies to this situation.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard may have been spending a lot of time apart recently, since he's been in Australia filming that latest installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, but now they're back together and more gorgeous than ever!
The cute couple linked hands, held waists, and flashed sexy smiles Friday on the red carpet for Johnny's new movie Black Mass at this year's Venice Film Festival.
The two were even color-coordinated, with Amber rocking an elegant black dress, and Johnny in a suave suit!
Rumors about the lovebirds' crumbling romance ran rampant earlier this year, but there were no signs of trouble in paradise at the premiere of the Whitey Bulger movie!
And a source backs up the united front they showed off at the festival, saying:
Can we somehow trade bodies with Dakota Johnson Freaky-Friday style???
Behold the luckiest girl in the world!
Dakota attended the photo call for her latest movie during the Venice Film Festival on Friday, looking very demure in a high-neck black A-line dress.
Her sexy co-star opted for dijon-mustard yellow pants and a green blazer, which is an ill-advised color combination under pretty much any circumstances.
So, yeah, we're not fans of either of these outfits, but we will forever be fans of these two!

Don't expect to see Sienna Miller in the upcoming film Black Mass!
Even though director Scott Cooper said the actress was "fantastic" playing opposite Johnny Depp, she was completely cut out of the film due to "narrative choices" — ouch!
The crime drama follows an unrecognizable Depp as Whitey Bulger, a Boston gangster who was sentenced to prison for after a 16 year manhunt!
Miller played one of Bulger's girlfriends while he was on the run, but Cooper thought those scenes were "less dramatic" — so they landed on the cutting room floor!
Last year, the 33-year-old joked that her appearance in the film was really a "cameo," spending a mere two weeks on set. Small roles like this getting left out of the final edit is pretty common in the biz, so we're sure the Foxcatcher star isn't taking it personally!
Check out the cast (sans Sienna, LOLz) when Black Mass hits theaters September 18!
This is so sad.
ICYMI: On Sunday, film legend Wes Craven passed away at 76-years-old after a battle with brain cancer. The horror expert created some of Hollywood's most successful franchises — such as Scream and Nightmare On Elm Street.
So we're not surprised that so many in the industry have taken to Twitter to pay tribute to the late writer/director — including the Friends actress, Rose McGowan, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and many more.
Check out their responses below:
This is just so sad.
Wes Craven — the writer/director who created the Nightmare On Elm Street and Scream horror film franchises — has died at the age of 76.
His family released a statement Sunday evening announcing the news:
"It is with deep sadness we inform you that Wes Craven passed away at 1PM on Sunday, August 30 after battling brain cancer. He was 76 years old. Craven was surrounded by love, in the presence of his family at his Los Angeles home."
A Nightmare On Elm Street reboot was in the works, and Scream was made into a TV series on MTV this summer.
Our thoughts go out to Wes' family during this difficult time.

Lily-Rose Depp has teamed up with photographer iO Tillett Wright for his latest photography campaign.
That's because the campaign, called the Self Evident Truths project, uses photographs to showcase people who identify — even if it's only marginally — as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or queer! The project's website explains:
"The Self Evident Truths project is a photographic document of 10,000 people in the USA that identify as ANYTHING OTHER than 100% straight – as in, if you are anywhere on the LGBTQ spectrum in ANY way, even 1% gay, we want to take your picture!"
On Sunday, the artist took to Instagram to share a sweet snap with Lily (above) that they took together for the campaign, captioning the precious pic:
"I'm so proud of my baby girl @lilyrose_depp. She decided she wanted to be in @selfevidentproject because she falls somewhere on the vast spectrum, and I couldn't be happier to welcome her to the family. She's a tiny gem of a good human.#prouduncle #weareyou"
And the famous teen isn't the only model-slash-actress to take part in the Self Evident Truths project!
Last year, Cara Delevingne snapped a selfie with iO for the campaign! Ch-ch-check it out (below)!
Move over, Lily-Rose Depp, your dad's got a blue chip fashion contract, too!
A lucrative fragrance campaign, in fact, complete with a mini-movie of all things!
The actor stars in the ad (above) for Dior's Sauvage perfume, looking dapper and rugged against a desert backdrop.
But there's more!
Coming on September 2, a short film featuring Johnny will be released, and we already have a teaser to tide us over until then.
