Bassem Youssef, often referred to as the "Jon Stewart of the Arab world" sat down with his American predecessor last night on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and boy, was it HIGHlarious!

The Egyptian television satirist brought the funny while making some poignant points about politics and being persecuted by his government. There was even a joke made about Glee!

Bassem, who was arrested earlier this month, is currently being investigated for allegedly insulting Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and the faith of Islam on his show The Program. Can you imagine something like this happening to Jon?!

Well, Eva might have been smart enough to land a certain movie role, but she revealed to Jon Stewart at The Daily Show that she didn’t sound smart enough to keep her own voice in the film.

Um, did no one involved hear that luscious voice??

Poor Eva ended up having her voice dubbed over in one of her first films to up the intelligence, but it sounds like it might not have totally worked.

Jon Stewart is leaving his desk for TWELVE WEEKS (eight weeks of new episodes) and letting Jon Oliver take over the show for him while he goes and directs a movie!

What movie is more important than the fake news? An adaptation of BBC journalist Maziar Bahari's memoir! Jon's flick will be called Rosewater, while the memoir was titled Then They Came for Me: A Family’s Story of Love, Captivity and Survival, which we agree is waaaaaay too long for a movie poster! Ha!

In the end, though, we can only wish Jon luck — and thank him for replacing himself with another Jon so the change won't feel so abrupt!
