Joseph Gordon-Levitt is FINALLY getting his wish!
The 34-year-old has been dying to do a movie musical with Channing Tatum, and it looks like it's actually going to happen this time!
It's also being penned by 21 Jump Street writer Michael Bacall. The scribe has obviously worked with the 35-year-old in the buddy cop comedy, but he's also partnered with JGL in the past, as well.
In fact, he and the 500 Days of Summer alum were the ones who pitched the idea to Universal!
Now, the execs are being tight-lipped about the script, but we do know it's going to be an R-rated flick following two pilots who will probably be getting into some shenanigans and singing about them!
This won't be the first time we'll see the Magic Mike hunk sing on camera, since that debut happened in his new film Hail Caesar!, but it'll be inneresting to see him in a full-blown musical movie!

We can't wait!
Lip Sync Battle has already brought us some AH-Mazing moments from some of our favorite stars.
Just when we thought we'd seen the best of the best with Joseph Gordon-Levitt's EPIC Janet Jackson performance, Lip Sync Battle goes and gets Channing Tatum to face off against Jenna Dewan-Tatum for the premiere!
While that's enough to make us watch, the preview last week promised we'd get to see Channing as Elsa and Jenna get her Magic Mike on.
Well, the good news keeps coming as we've got a bit more of peek at the 21 Jump Street star's performance and it's absolutely INCREDIBLE!
Ch-ch-check out the 35-year-old's EPIC Disney performance (below) to start your week off right!
Amazing costume he has!
Last night was the Los Angeles premiere of the HIGHLY anticipated film Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
While there were plenty of stars who looked quite glamorous including a stunning Daisy Ridley and leggy looks from Sarah Hyland and Billie Lourd, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is our pick for outfit of the night!
No, it's not because he looked like his usual adorable and studly self, but rather he decided to go full fanboy and get his cosplay on by dressing up as Yoda from the Star Wars movies.
We give him even more points because even with all his fame and money, JGL decided to forgo fancy makeup and costumes and clearly made his own, green face paint and all!
Sure, it's not the best looking costume in the world, but it shows his true devotion to being a Star Wars fan! You go, Joe!
Who do you think had the best look last night?

Back in the day, Adam Sandler changed the holiday song game with The Chanukah Song!
This ode to the Jewish holiday had a few different renditions as time went on, but each version of the song rattled off a list of Jewish celebs and cultural figures!
Now, the comedian has unveiled the fourth version of the funny holiday jam with updated lyrics and (mostly) timely cultural references!
But he also makes time to point out fictional characters like Harry Potter, and Elsa and Olaf from Frozen — we're assuming he means Idina Menzel and Josh Gad, as the characters are Arendellan and, um, Icy?
Check out the hilarious fourth rendition of The Chanukah Song (below)!
This is FANTASTIC!
While on the road, Levitt stopped by James Corden's show to chat it up and give the late night host a little surprise — a big wet kiss under some mistletoe!
But the fun didn't stop there as Corden's other late night guest — Bryan Cranston — had a bit of fun in his dressing room with some surprisingly sexy and bizarre guests.
Ch-ch-check out the HIGHlarious clip (below)!
