The end is near, and Dancing With The Stars contestants had ONE last chance to show that they are worthy of winning the Mirror Ball Trophy tomorrow night, and they all made the most of it!
The last week of competition was broken into three rounds. First, each team had to do a routine that was handpicked by the judges! In the second round, the couples did a samba relay to TLC's live performance of No Scrubs to tack a couple of extra points to their scores! And last but certainly not least, there were the show stopping freestyle!
How do you show improvement when you're team is regularly the top scorers of the week?? Well that was the challenge Amber Riley and Derek Hough faced when Carrie Ann Inaba asked them to do the Charleston!
The dynamic duo had performed
We're only one week away from the finals on DWTS, meaning only the best of the best were left for week 10!
Maksim Chmerkovskiy made a special appearance at the judges table to help decide which teams were good enough to compete for the Mirror Ball Trophy! This also meant that each couple had a chance to score 10 additional points with each routine!
This season, Amber Riley has had to deal with busy schedules and fight through the pain of knee injuries! However, the Glee is finally starting to heal, and it definitely showed in her performances as she found herself back on top!
Amber and Derek Hough brought new meaning to the term "jazz hands" with their first dance that definitely seemed to rub
This season on DWTS, Corbin Bleu looks like he has a strong chance to take home the Mirror Ball Trophy as we head into the semifinals!
Well we were lucky enough to sit down with the hunky actor and get the inside scoop on his experience in the competition thus far!
Corbin admits that there is definitely a strong competitive spirit amongst his opponents, but at the end of the day they all want to see each other succeed since they're all learning on the fly!
He also opened up about working with his dance partner Karina Smirnoff and says he could NOT be happier with the pairing! Based on what we've seen from the two, we can't blame him!
Finally, Corbin opened up about his week 6 performance where the two got to geek out to a Game Of Thrones themed routine, and although he received one of the lowest scores of the week, he said it was by far his favorite moment of the season!
Ch-ch-check out the rest of our EXCLUSIVE interview with Corbin (above)!
We're only one week away from the semifinals on DWTS, and the contestants are DEFINITELY stepping up their game!
There are only six teams remaining and only five can move on to next week, but the dance floor was unusually crowded as each couple got a chance to pick a troupe dancer to do a trio routine!
Corbin Bleu picked Witney Carson to help out with his performance, and while they seemed to hit things off during rehearsals, Karina Smirnoff was worried that
We're not 100% sure, but we think that's how angels are born!!
This week, DWTS paid tribute to the iconic singer and let her sit at the judges table, which means competitors were sure to bring their A-game for the legendary performer!
However, they kind of had a trick up their sleeve as they had Derek come out in
It looks like Corbin Bleu is bringing a little bit of Westeros to Dancing With The Stars!
And we can't say that we blame him!
The two went all out as they dressed up as Khal Drogo and Daenerys and danced on an awesome set that came complete with an Iron Throne! Corbin even spoke a little Dothraki, but we have a feeling he didn't learn that for the competition! LOLz!!
Despite being one of the strongest teams throughout the season, the two got an unusually low score of a 23, but they were bumped up to a 27 after they won the Switch It Up challenge!
In the end it didn't really seem to matter though, because Corbin just looked happy that he got a chance to dress up as Khal Drogo!
Ch-ch-check out their nerd-tastic performance (above)!
