Back in February it was announced that Tilda Swinton would be the new face of Chanel's Metier d'Arts Paris-Edimbourg collection, and now that ads are finally here!

Shot by Unkle Karl in Scotland's (possibly haunted) Linlithgow Palace, the 52-year-old exudes otherworldly and slightly eerie beauty, and proves that nobody could've quite pulled off these lavish, opulent designs like she does.

We'd KILL for every sumptuous piece in this collection!

It's official! Rihanna is having a SERIOUS love affair with Chanel!

The popstar is still in the Big Apple after wrapping her Diamonds World Tour and looks to be having a lot of fun getting dressed up and hitting the town.

On Thursday, she got into a New York state of mind as she hung out with younger brother Rajad in the city wearing cut-off shorts, a Karl Lagerfeld print tee, and thigh-skimming blazer.

Accessories included several Chanel logo necklaces and Chanel two-toned flats.

She also wrote on Instagram:

I'm so #CCcertified u aint een know it!!

We just hope this infatuation isn't one-sided. That would be AWK!

After teasing us with 45 seconds of pure Coco-liciousness, Karl Lagerfeld's complete short film about Coco Chanel starring Keira Knightley is available for our viewing pleasure!

Shot in black and white, the film is set in Deauville where Coco had her first store, selling leisure jersey outfits and dealing with snotty society ladies.

In addition to Knightley, the film stars such fashion world royalty as supermodel Stella Tennant, French actress Clotilde Hesme, model Lindsey Wixson, and Unkle Karl fave Tallulah Harlech.

Also, there are SUBTITLES!

Enjoy the 18-minute film (above) and if the dialogue seems a bit AWK, it's because Karl gave his actors the script minutes before he said, "Action!"

But of course! Ha!

Well, punkety punk PUNK!

Diane Kruger dipped the ends of her blonde hair in pink dye for the Met Gala on Monday.

Obviously, the actress wore Chanel Haute Couture, but unlike Anna Wintour, she actually picked a Karl Lagerfeld design that wasn't a total floral bouquet.

Diane's black lace gown was one part punk, one part glam, and all parts GORGEOUS!

Joshua Jackson wasn't punk as far as we could tell, but he did match his red tie to his red socks.

That counts, right?!

Oui, c'est parfait!

Keira Knightley is Coco Chanel in a new short film, directed by none other than Karl Lagerfeld!

The film, Once Upon a Time…, is Unkle Karl's "invented reality" of Chanel and also stars models, Tallula Harlech and Lindsey Wixson in the black and white "improvised" piece.

From the trailer (above), it looks fascinating, and we're all about watching pretty people in pretty clothes!

The film is set to debut in Singapore on May 8.

It's finally time for The Great Gatsby media blitz!

The film is kicking off what will surely be a heavy month of promoting with Carey Mulligan gracing the May issue of Vogue.

Instead of wearing one of the many Prada costumes from the film, Miz Daisy Buchanan poses for Mario Testino's camera in a putrid green color Oscar de la Renta gown and dripping in Tiffany & Co. jewels.

Really? Out of all the gowns used in the shoot they chose this from the cover? Ick!

Luckily the rest of the spread is easier on the eyes (and stomach), with Carey modeling looks from Miu Miu, Chanel Haute Couture, Nina Ricci, Alexander McQueen and Dior Haute Couture.

Carey also reveals to the mag where she was the minute she got her big role: presenting at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in NYC with Karl Lagerfeld! The moment she got off stage, she was handed the phone and director Baz Luhrmann was on the line saying, "Hullo Daisy…"
