We bet these dogs are glad to get away…the kids unfortunately are not as lucky…

On top of her child abuse allegations, rumors are buzzing around the interwebz that Kate Gosselin was also abusive to the family dogs too.

The Gosselins owned two German Shepherds, Nala and Shoka, before they gave them away.

Robert Hoffman, the journalist who just happens to be Jon Gosselin's pal, says he witnessed horrid things from Kate towards the poor pooches.

Kate Gosselin's Kate Plus 8 returns to the airwaves with all-new episodes beginning April 4, TLC announced Tuesday.

In the hour-long season premiere, the once-ubiquitous, now-single reality mom, 35, takes her 8 kids on their most far-flung journey ever: Australia.

After their longest plane ride yet, the famous family (minus dad Jon Gosselin, of course) ring in the New Year in Sydney.

TLC is promising lots of adventures iincluding Kate's freezing-cold ocean encounter with a Shark!

We're not sure what kind of shark misadventure the family has, but it has the oppertunity to really change the series. JK.

Kate Gosselin took her kids horseback riding in New Zealand as they continue their tour of the land down under.

The group was followed by the camera crew for her reality show as they rode the horses through the stunning New Zealand countryside.

These kids are lucky they have the opportunity to go on such an extravagant vacation. Hopefully they'll remember it for the rest of their life.

Reality mom Kate Gosselin took her eight children to visit Steve Irwin's Australian Zoo on Thursday.

They got a special performance from the late Crocodile Hunter's family and mingled with his widow Terri and kids, Bindi and Robert.

Looks like fun!

Her family almost fills up all of the seats it looks like.
