The usually lovely looking Kate Walsh seems to be having a less than glamorous day yesterday.

Walsh was spotted in Los Angeles on Wednesday arriving at a local church. They have meetings there of various kinds.

And she went looking like she just stepped out of some poor version of the 80's.

With her torn, rolled up jeans, that shirt, the sneakers, and her purse, we could hardly tell it was Walsh.

Is her current divorce from that "straight" hubby of hers affecting her that much?

Let's hope not!

Time to move on and snag someone better.

TV star Kate Walsh is the March covergirl for Redbook magazine and - for the first time since her divorce and quickie marriage - opens up to the media about that tough period in her life.

On her divorce, Kate told the mag, "I don't think anyone gets married thinking that they will get divorced. We certainly did not. Alex and I still care for each other, and I wish him nothing but the best. The silver lining to this, however, is that I have a wonderful family and a great group of friends who really showed their support and encouragement, and for that I am truly grateful.

Kate was only married 15-months! But it is Hollywood, so its equivalent in 'real people' time is probably three years.

She also revealed that, like us all, she deals with bouts of insecurity:"I second-guess myself all the time. I make a decision and then wonder if I made the wrong choice. Sometimes I come off as confident, but really I am a quivering little wharf rat underneath who is radically insecure and deeply in need of love and understand."

Kate also quips about something all us single people are dealing with in this new age. Technology has really turned dating on its head.

"Remember when you could mildly stalk a guy? Not anymore, man. They can be at your front door in five minutes. There's just no mystery now," said Kate.

And, if you aren't careful, the other party can probably 'see' that you're stalking them!

As we mentioned earlier this month, Private Practive star Kate Walsh and her hubby of a year, Alex Young, are calling it quits.

Young, a 20th Century Fox exec filed for divorce on November 22 due to "irreconcilable differences."

However, there seems to be a bit of a discrepancy as to when the two split.

He said/she said!

Kate has now counter filed for divorce and submitted her own documents asking for a permanent split from Young.

Both of them stated irreconcilable differences as the main cause.

However, Walsh stated that the two actually split 5 days earlier as opposed to young's filings.

Wonder what the real reason for the split is?

We do to!

Now, this is completely unsubstantiated and just a rumor, but…..

Word on the street is that Alex left Kate for his former college roommate. Yes, a man! An openly gay lawyer named Michael.

Scandalicious!!!!

We sure hope that's true!!!!!!!

So was it an on-set affair that ended Kate Walsh's blink-and-you'll-miss-it marriage to studio exec Alex Young?

A "friend" is telling Star Magazine that the actress and Private Practice co-star David Sutcliffe had been cozying up on set, working on their chemistry even after the director yelled "Cut."

The loose-lipped friend added, "Kate really likes David, and knowing that didn't help Alex's fragile ego. Kate and David had a real connection playing lovers on the show, and she didn't seem to have that with her own husband."

Taking a page from the Brangelina book now, are we?

Update: A rep for Walsh exclusively tells PerezHilton.com, "There is no truth to this at all. The Star never called us for comment."

That didn't last long!

After a swift courtship and a September 2007 wedding, the husband of Private Practice star Kate Walsh - civilian (non actor) Alex Young - has filed for divorce.

He cites the tried and true "irreconcilable differences."

The separation date listed is November 22nd - right before Thanksgiving.

He doesn't wanna have to spend the holidays with someone he grew to hate not love!

As primary season heats up, celebrities continue to show up on the campaign trail for their favorite candidates.

On Wednesday, Private Practice star Kate Walsh went out stumping for Barack Obama at Arizona State University.

"She was the nicest person ever," one Perezcious student tells us. "Not a diva at all. She took the time to answer questions, sign autographs, and take pictures with her fans and Obama supporters."

The new Grey's Anatomy spin-off, Private Practive, premiered well last night.

The show, starring Kate Walsh, was the most-watched series premiere thus far this season.

Another strong debut was NBC's Bionic Woman, which also premiered on Wednesday. That show was the night's top show among adults 18-49, the highly coveted demographic amongst advertisers.

Hopefully both shows will get better as the season progresses!
