The show is rumored to be going bye-bye after the 13-episode sixth season this fall, but if ABC decides to renew, the series' star is done after next year no matter what.

Bad news: Private Practice fans that lurve Pete Wilder's story line are going to be deeply disappointed!
Original cast member, Tim Daly, announced he will not be returning to the ABC drama for its sixth season.
The Grey's Anatomy spin-off was facing cancelation earlier this month, but the network recently announced the show will indeed be returning this fall — without Daly.
Tim tweeted the sad news late Tuesday, writing:
The series once seemed ripe for cancellation, but a recent ratings spike has ABC leaning toward renewing Private Practice for a sixth and final season.

Kate Walsh made an appearance at The Grove on Thursday to unveil her second fragrance: Billionaire Boyfriend.
For her chat with Terri Seymour, the Private Practice star wore an unflattering leather skirt, blue lace top, black tights and ankle boots.
Billionaire Boyfriend will be available on HSN starting February 3rd.

Kate Winslet walked away with her third Golden Golden for her role in Mildred Pierce! She had some really tough competition, but no one can deny she SLAYED her performance in that TV movie and she has sooo deserved every accolade she's gotten for it to date!
So far, it is looking like HBO's night!
