We barely believe it!

Ashley Judd went from the foot of the Congressional steps to scoring a major role in Divergent in just a few short days!!

The film began shooting earlier this week, but somehow the Double Jeopardy star still squeezed her way into the cast at the last minute and will play Shailene Woodley's mama!!!

Divergent is one of the most anticipated movies in the history of ever and we're obvi pleased as pumpkin pie to report the addition of three more Class A hotties too the cast!

We can finally get excited!!

Kate Winslet has been rumored for months now to be cast in Divergent, and after a whole lot of teasing, it’s official!

The actress will be joining an AH-Mazing cast that includes Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Jai Courtney, Zoë Kravitz, Ansel Elgort and Maggie Q.

But the best part about her casting is that it’s in a totally unexpected role!

Instead of playing a heroin-type character like we would expect our sweet Kate to do, she’ll be downright villainous!

Kate has been cast as Jeanine Matthews in the film which has us just waiting on the edge of our seats to see how bada** she will be.

We must admit, we are so happy this casting rumor turned out to be true!

Now, time for the waiting game…

After winning the coveted role of reporter Jeanine Matthews in the HIGHly anticipated Divergent flick, the elegant actress hit the town with her hubby Ned Rocknroll at the opening night of The Book Of Mormon in London yesterday.

Sounds like the PERFECT way to celebrate.

Your love life AND career are locked down.

The only thing left to do is sit back and enjoy the ride, baby!

The search for the male lead opposite Shailene Woodley in the big-screen adaptation of Veronica Roth's Divergent has FINALLY come to an end, and after much speculation, recently-cast Goldenboy star Theo James, who has also appeared in Downton Abbey and Underworld: The Awakening, has landed the part of Four!

Rob Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger, Co-Chairmen of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, say in a statement:

We lap ANY Divergent news up like it was life-giving MILK!

Now that we know Shailene Woodley is playing Beatrice "Tris" Prior in the film adaptation of post-apocalyptic teen novel Divergent AND that Kate Winslet has signed on to the project, we've been DYING to know who else will join this inevitably EPIC production…

And, thankfully, three more roles have been cast!

Nikita actress Maggie Q will play Tori, Lenny Kravitz's daughter Zoe Kravitz will depict Christina, and the VERY handsome Ansel Elgort will embody Tris' brother Caleb.

BUT, Lenny K's daughter isn't the only one bringing in the Hunger Games connection, as rumor has it that Alexander Ludwig AKA Cato(!) has screen tested for the part of Tobias "Four" Eaton!

In a since deleted tweet, Alex reportedly wrote:

Okay, we want some of the virgin blood Kate Winslet' obviously been drinking.

She looks UNBELIEVABLE in this new Lancome ad for some wrinkle cream (Rénergie Lift Multi-Action Reviva-Concentrate, to be exact) that she totally doesn't need!
