Kathy Griffin is set to guest-star on an episode of Law & Order: SVU on February 10th!

And, get this, she'll be playing a lesbian activist!

This must be her dream come true!

Executive producer Neal Baer revealed the news in a fun way on Twitter, having his followers guess the name of the guest star by playing Hangman.

We can't wait to watch Kath in action! This is a much better gig than that Let's Dance crap!

After scoring a hosting gig for ABC's Let's Dance, the network ended up canceling the show before it even aired!

But insiders tell us that Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List has been renewed for 10 episodes on Bravo.

The bitch lucked out this time!

We wonder what kind of D-list shenanigans she'll get up to next season?

And the show didn't even air yet!

ABC decided to give Let's Dance the axe, which was set to air for a 5 week run beginning on November 23rd and hosted by Kathy Griffin!

They're replacing it with the reality show Find My Family that documents people's searches to find a long-lost relative or friend.

Let's Dance was to feature celebrities re-enacting famous dance routines.

Yeah, it sounded shiteous to us, too! But we do love us some Kathy!

Canceled before the show even airs? How D-List!

Kathy Griffin really knows how to celebrate her birthday. And that's by whoring out her new comedy CD!

The funny lady turns 59 49 today and she already started her birthday celebrations a day early.

Tuesday night Kathy was spotted celebrating her birthday at The Abbey in West Hollywood. And she rocked it in her purposefully gaudy Santa Claus outfit!

But there's a reason for the silliness.

Kathy used the opportunity to promote her upcoming holiday comedy CD, Suckin’ It For The Holidays, which was released yesterday.

She's got to make that money!

And on the plus side, she's looking pretty damn hot!

Umm, this is interesting.

Kathy Griffin is all set to host a new dance show on ABC called Let's Dance, featuring celebrity contestants re-enacting famous routines.

So like Dancing with the Stars, but with unoriginal choreography?

Awesome!

The show is actually premiering after the Dancing with the Stars finale on Monday, November 23th and is set to air five episodes. Three viewers' choices and three judges' choices will advance to the final round and the public votes for the winner.

How many "stars" did they get for this thing? Six final performances seems like a lot!

Enough with the dance shows, but hopefully Kathy will give this show the pizazz it needs! Without her it sounds like a TOTAL snoozefest!

The claws came out at last week's VH1 Divas concert when Paula Abdul almost backed out of presenting alongside Kathy Griffin. An insider states:

"Paula had to be coaxed onstage to present with Kathy. Kathy has made fun of her A LOT in the past and she's still pretty offended. She was leery about Kathy might say about her in public."

Well it's probably a safe assumption that we won't be presenting any awards with Abdrool anytime soon!

Griffin remained her usual snarky self in Paula's direction saying "I see you giving me the evil eye, Paula" and asking if she ever saw Idol co-star, Simon Cowell, in the buff.

Paula eagerly retaliated with: "Have you ever banged anyone? Hey, listen, Firecrotch!"

Best leave the comedy to the professionals, Paula.

In a scripted question while presenting, Abdul asked Griffin to promise not make fun of her anymore to which Kathy sassed, "I pinky swear I won't make fun of you…until Kelly Clarkson comes on."

Clarkson performed about 10 seconds later. Ha!

The gals had it with each other by the end of the night with Abdul apparently being the "life of the after party" and Kathy skipping the event altogether.

The source continues: "You know Kathy. She's going to make fun of Paula the very next chance she gets!"

We wouldn't have it any other way!

We are so going to TIVO this!

After her stint as a guest host for the past two days on The View, Kate Gosselin will return to the ladies on Friday as an actual guest.

What more she could possibly say (or not say) we're not sure, but it should prove to be one hell of an episode as the guest host will have a lot to ask of her.

Getting ready Kate, because Kathy Griffin is coming your way!

Oh, what kind of awkward hilarity will we get to witness? What kinds of probing questions will Kathy ask? Will she wear the Kate wig????

This is going to be good!

On Friday, the telecast of the Creative Arts Emmys will air on the E! network.

We have a hunch many people won't be tuning in to hear who won for Best Sound Mixing or Best Technical Direction, but what they will be tuning in for is the first five minutes, to hear what the outrageous Kathy Griffin is going to say in her hosting monologue.

We predict some comedy gold!

Kathy has a history of being provocative and unpredictable during her Emmy appearances, which includes a speech so controversial, a religious theater group took out an entire page in USA Today, condemning her.

But Kathy only sees that as a highlight to her career, adding, "I'd like to think that that's why I got the gig — that I was so offensive and shocking last year that they thought maybe I could put this thing on the map."

Too bad the show isn't taped live! She would have had a field day with the Kanye West - VMA incident.

The four hour long award show that covers everything from editing to makeup, will be whittled down for the broadcast.

Kathy concedes that working a long award show and making it entertaining isn't always easy, but she has ways of keeping things interesting, saying "Sometimes I have to take my clothes off and pixelate my private parts to get a laugh."

Do what you have to do to get it done, girl!

Poor Kathy Griffin!

The My Life on the D-List star/two-time Emmy winner hosted the 61st Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards (AKA the Shmemmys) in El Lay Saturday night, but failed to pick up an award herself!

Always knocked back down to the D-list!

Although Kathy was the big loser of the night, winners included Tina Fey for her spot-on Sarah Palin portrayal on SNL, as well as Timberpuss for his guest appearance on SNL.
