Kathy got a bit too close for Anderson Cooper’s comfort on CNN’s New Year's Eve Live when the comedian kissed the news anchor’s crotch after threatening to “tickle his sack.”
The taunting and touching began after Anderson explained that some Twitter followers planned to drink every time Anderson nervously giggled, so Kathy was just making sure everyone at home got sufficiently happy!
It could’ve been worse, we guess?? At least Kathy didn’t try unzipping his pants. That would’ve really cemented CNN's "most trusted name in news" title. HA!
Hey, you can’t blame the girl for trying! We’d go a little crazy being that close to the Silver Fox too. LOLz!!

Why? Cuz they're the DREAM TEAM!!!
In anticipation of Kathy's antics, Anderson released a pre-apology saying:
"As always, I await New Year's Eve with Kathy Griffin with grave reservations and tremendous fear, and I want to apologize in advance to anyone she may offend/assault/attempt to kiss."
In response to Cooper's statement Kathy told reporters:
