Heads up, Katie Couric is back and better than ever!

If you're a fan of daytime television and all the unnecessary behind-the-scenes drama that comes with it, then you're probably aware that it's been over a decade since Katie left The TODAY Show for CBS Evening News (which she's no longer at either, btw).

However, you may not be aware the former NBC anchor is currently filling in for Savannah Guthrie opposite Matt Lauer this week — and Day 2 of her TODAY return is head and shoulders above her debut on Monday… or should we say "below"?

That's because Katie interviewed certified yogi/Alec Baldwin's better half Hilaria Baldwin about her new book The Living Clearly Method on Tuesday, which meant she obviously had to partake in some yoga poses.

We just lost a journalism great.

On Monday, Gwen Ifill tragically lost her battle with cancer, and passed away at the age of 61. The iconic anchor died at a hospice in Washington, surrounded by loved ones.

Gwen took over Washington Week in Review in 1999, and officially became the first African-American woman to host a major political talk show on television.

Over the course of her career, Ifill covered seven presidential campaigns. In 2013, she became the cohost for PBS' NewsHour. In addition to her television career, she also served as a national political reporter for The Washington Post and the White House correspondent for The New York Times.

NewsHour heartbreakingly announced their co-anchor's death. The show's executive producer, Sara Just, remembered her colleague, saying:
