Mmmm mmmm mmm…

No Milkshake here, but Kelis' new track, Jerk Ribs, is just as delicious.

And when we say "new," we mean it because we've NEVER heard anything like this from her.

Do we hear a horn following that sultry voice??!

It seems like our gurl has left behind the pop sounds for some funky beats that make us want to dance on this eargasmic diet for days to come.

Kelis went out of her way to put together one helluva outfit for the ESSENCE Black Women In Music event in El Lay on Wednesday night.

Rocking a reverse Cruella de Vil hairstyle, the Milkshake queen arrived in a black and white dress, which would have looked fine if she left everything else at home.

Unfortunately, she didn't, and everything went downhill thanks to her snakeskin coat, black knee-high boots, gold lion clutch and gobs of jewelry.

Remember Kelis, less is more!

The ex-wife of rapper Nas recently released another Skream collaboration called Distance that we were kinda diggin', but Copycat is a pure purrrrfection!

When are you releasing your sixth album, girl?! We heard sometime SOON, but it's obviously not soon enough!

Nas may be a thought provoking artist in general, but the iconic rapper had some thoughts of his own last Monday evening (October 1st) when he got intimate with his audience during a small London show!

While spitting the somber tune Bye Bye Baby — a song supposedly written about his Milkshake making ex-wife Kelis — Nas expressed how he still wants to have sex with his ex, even if it's only for one, last time!

Nas & Kelis aren't getting romantically entwined again, but they have been spending a lot of time together.

Most notably at the very romantic Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, CA where the two were spending time with their mutual son Knight.

The two insist their relationship is strictly platonic, which is probably better for everyone, but they want to be friends in order to better raise their son. Which is incredibly noble of them.

We're so happy that they are able to let bygones be bygones and do everything they can, even if it is a bit awkward, to make sure their son turns out just as good as them!

The duo who defined the end of 2011 with mega-smash We Found Love will reunite once more!!

But Rihanna isn't the ONLY superstar appearing on beat-tinkering master Calvin Harris' forthcoming third album 18 Months!

The Scottish DJ announced via Twitter today that Kelis, Nicky Romero, Ellie Goulding, Florence Welch, Dizzee Rascal, NeYo and a HOST of others would also lend their vocals to his new project!
