Kellie Pickler has been married to her husband, Kyle Jacobs, for over a year now.

They seem to have a very solid marriage, though there was one big issue that could have torn them apart.

Kellie said:

"I love Kyle, he's my best friend. The only complaint that I would have with my husband is that I had to give up my cat."

She and her cat, Pickles, had been inseparable since she adopted him in 2006.

"I adopted him from an animal shelter out in Tennessee. He was my best friend. He went with me everywhere."

The problem was that if she wanted to marry Jacobs, she would have to get rid of her best friend.

"My husband's allergic to everything – he's, like, allergic to air. So, unfortunately, I had to find my cat Pickles a home with a family back in North Carolina."

At least Pickles has a good home now. It must've been tough to give up your best friend like that.

"I cried, I was devastated. My husband's going to be so sad when he reads this."

It must've been so tough! But we'd hope her wonderful husband makes up for it.

"Every time I look at my hand, I go, 'Good God.' What's behind this ring is such unconditional love, trust and respect. I see my husband every time I look at my ring. I'm a blessed woman – I have a good man."

So even though she had to give up Pickles, she's still a cat lover and does what she can to help out cats everywhere through charity and advocacy work.

"Cats kind of get slighted sometimes. And there's the stereotype about people that love cats – they call us crazy cat ladies. I'm crazy, but it's not because I love cats."

We love that you love cats and we're sure that cats love you too!

She's joining a roster of fierce people guest starring on the show this season: Billy Ray Cyrus, Vinny Guadagnino … and most importantly, PEREZ! We can't wait!

Kellie Pickler will be starring in an upcoming episode of 90210 this season and we have this first look (picture) to show you the girlie at work. Visting West Bev will make Kellie's acting debut, but thankfully, the part is well within her range. Kelly plays Sally, a country singer who is Austin's, played by newcomer Justin Deeley, cousin. The episode will Kelly a chance to not only test out her actin chops, but perform her new single, Tough.

Such fun! We can't wait to see her spunky self light up the small screen!

No William Hung this year??? LOLz.

Well this is…odd.

Sweet, but still kind of odd.

The ever adorable Kellie Pickler just tweeted out an interesting proposition to her followers. If you weren't invited to her wedding last month, she's ready to share her special moment with you - for the low, low price of $1.99!

It would appear that Kellie is selling her wedding video on iTunes, or rather segment of her wedding video set to her hubby, Kyle Jacob's, song, Say I Do, which we are going to assume he wrote for the occasion.

The American Idol singer recently explained that the couple had planned a much more elaborate celebration in Nashville, when they realized that they had gotten overwhelmed with silly details, instead of focusing on what they considered to be important!

She elaborates:

"When two people get married, it's not about the glamour. It's about the bride and groom and God. We didn't have anything but us and God and our minister, and I can't think of a word that can quite describe how perfect it was."

Well, it certainly looks that way, bb! Just lovely!

Girlie eloped in the Caribbean! How special!

According to Kellie Pickler's rep, our fave lil country star got married on the first day of 2011 to Kyle Jacobs! The pair said "I do" at a "small, intimate ceremony on a private island in the Caribbean."

Romantic! That's one way to ring in the New Year!

Country cutie Kellie Pickler is engaged to songwriter boyfriend Kyle Jacobs after he proposed last week on a Florida beach at sunset.

How romantic! Kellie says:

"It turned out to be the most amazing day of my life. My whole world changed…I remember saying to Kyle, 'Baby it's like I'm dreaming – but if this isn't real, I'm going to be very upset!'

"Kyle took away all my fear of marriage and has shown me the way love is supposed to be. I'm in the happiest place I've ever been."

So sweet!
