Marguarette Michel of Syracuse, NY was arrested for stealing a purse at a Kelly Clarkson concert at the Turning Stone Casino.
Police say that Michel saw the purse underneath her victim's chair and made with the goods, stealing the cash and credit cards and dumping the purse.
And Michel was ready to gamble so she STAYED at the concert!
We can't blame her; who would miss a Kelly Clarkson concert?!
When the victim complained her purse was missing, Michel hightailed it out of there but was caught, charged, and locked up for grand larceny.
Kelly Clarkson has a history with the music of the late Etta James.
She performed the singer's famous song At Last during her original American Idol audition, which eventually catapulted her into the star she is today.
This weekend, Kelly honored Etta by performing I'd Rather Go Blind at Radio City Music Hall this weekend. She told the crowd:
"This isn’t At Last because everyone really covers that and so I wanted to do my favorite, actually. My favorite song is I'd Rather Go Blind. So, this is for Etta!"
Watch Kelly belt it out above. Say what you will about Kelly, but the girl's still got amazing pipes.

Totally kick ass!
Can we get real for a second? We think it might go without saying, but since music is our life, the Grammys are a HIGHlight for us every year. So much talent squished into one room — ain't nothing to not love about that!
That's why we're SUPER stoked that the first round of performers have been announced for this year's show … and it's an impressive list! Kicking things off are superstar performers Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars and Kelly Clarkson with Jason Aldean.
Sweeeeeeeet!
Just one request though: Minajesty, something other than Super Bass, please. Don't misunderstand, we love that jam, but you've got so many other gems in your arsenal. Give us something else to rock out to!

Everybody will be watching the National Anthem at Super Bowl XLVI. It's important and integral to the game. Only the best of the best are allowed to take a crack at it, and by God, they better not forget the lyrics.
So this year, it's Kelly Clarkson's turn for all that pressure!
While the NFL hasn't made the official announcement yet, Kelly tweeted an article about it, confirming it.
We think she'll do well -- she did well in a huge singing competition when she had to remember lyrics the week before competing, so we're sure a song she's heard for a million years won't prove to be much of a problem.
Congrats, Kelly!

"I have no desire to be Madonna or Britney…..I DON'T want to be the biggest star in the world."
- Kelly Clarkson to PEOPLE

Kelly Clarkson has room on her plate for another singing competition.
And it's not American Idol.
Kelly has been tapped to be a guest mentor on The Voice, appearing alongside Blake Shelton as his guest.
She joins Miranda Lambert as Blake's guests. But don't worry; Adam, Xtina, and Cee-Lo have guest of their own!
The other mentors have more diverse guests in their corners.

By being all together!
While you were off drinking too much champagne and kissing a strangers at midnight, a group of country and pop music stars were doing the same thing - minus the but about being strangers.
As you can see from this picture above, Anne V. (who tweeted the picture) got DRUNK with Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert last Saturday night in Ooooooooklahoma!
Bet it was some kind of bash! But wasn't there any food to eat? How come Miranda is taking a bite out of poor Kelly! LOL!

Whaaaa?!?
Even though Kelly Clarkson may have lost some Twitter followers after her recent endorsement of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul, it looks like it was actually a great move on her part as her album sales on Amazon have had a 200% increase in just 72 hours!!!
On Tuesday, her album Stronger was ranked 41 on Amazon's "Movers and Shakers in Music" list. Three days later, (after her endorsement tweet that said "I love Ron Paul), BOOM, the album was bumped up to the #13 spot.
Crazy! Could this be a sign of the times - a foreshadowing when it comes to the presidential race in 2012?? Or did her sales increase just because her name was in the news??
Who knows?! But, way to go, Kelly! Good PR move! LOLz.
