THE HAT IS BACK! BUT THIS TIME IT'S RED!
Every year, the NBA All-Star Weekend is the perfect opportunity to showcase some of the best players in the league! So why not also show a little bit of love to some of the best acts in the music industry as well??
Saturday night, Kenrick Lamar provided a much needed break from the incredibly confusing rules of the skills competitions to perform a rocked out rendition of m.A.A.d city which he followed up with the much more mellow Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe!
Sunday brought out even more stars as Pharrell and his giant red hat kicked off the All-Star Game with a star studded line-up of his own, which included Nelly, Busta Rhymes, Chad Hugo, Diddy, and Snoop Dogg! Even his favorite had made a cameo during the performance!
Then at halftime, Trombone Shorty took center stage with a little help from his friends Doctor John, Gary Clark Jr., Janelle Monáe, and Earth, Wind, & Fire!
Talk about an All-Star lineup of performers!

We hope you carnivores are famished because Drizzy just BROUGHT THE BEEF!
Rolling Stone published a new interview with Drake and, in it, the rapper unloads a couple of comments so shocking that they made our tiny testicle hairs stand on end!
When Macklemore's name was brought up, the 27-year-old Hold On, We're Going Home singer didn't hold back — the dude dished out a double-dose of shade!!!
Well, Drake thought the gesture was phony. He didn't like it all. In fact he went so far as to say Macklemore's actions were
And we have Radioactive chills again!
First, Radioactive started out normal, which of course meant having a slew of fabulous stringed instruments being played in the background. Then the hooded 27-year-old rapper appeared on stage to kill his verse (above)!
Their second song, Demons, was much more subdued, but no less AH-Mayzing
They're calling it the Philippines’ Biggest Music Event of the Year – the 7107 International Music Festival!
Not only is it going to have some amazing acts, like the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kendrick Lamar, but it's for a good cause too. Part of the proceeds of the festival will be used to rebuild, rehabilitate, and fund relief projects for the Typhoon Yolanda victims though HelpPH and the EJ Litton Foundation!
It will be launching
But with every award that they won, it meant another award that Kendrick Lamar lost! K.Dot ended up going home empty-handed despite being nominated in 6 different categories!
And that had fans calling foul!
So what does Kendrick have to say about all of this?
Turns out he’s totally fine with Macklemore taking music’s top prize!
Because most were saying that Kendrick Lamar's breakthrough set of tracks, good kid, m.A.A.d city should've snatched the win!
It was an official award show Heist…and even Macklemore thought so!
So that's why the rapper texted an official apology (above) to his industry pal—agreeing with fans that Mr. Lamar should've taken home the trophy!
He captioned the screen grab of his heartfelt text on Instagram:
