The Billboard Music Awards FINALLY arrived — and boy, did a lot of people have things to say about it online.
As per usual, hordes of fans took to social media sites to comment on the A-list-filled magenta carpet. Classic!
While we OBVIOUSLY have our thoughts about all the looks from this year's awards show, we thought we'd turn to the peanut gallery for the best reactions surrounding the Sin City event. You're welcome!
Be sure to ch-ch-check out all of the best Twitter commentary from the hot event for yourself (below).
The lady of the hour was most definitely Britney Spears. The Baby One More Time singer was slated to slay a medley of her hits before accepting the Millennium Award… but before all that, she STUNNED viewers on the red carpet!
She could've used this opportunity to stun us…
The purple ensemble probably honoring that time she broke into Prince's house before she was famous is a beautiful tribute, and the embroidery works nicely with her golden locks.
The True Colors songbird completed the getup with inneresting heels and a sly grin. No doubt she's happy to be performing tonight! We just wish she would've chosen a show-stopping gown.
What do you think???
Kesha has always maintained a special relationship with her fans!
On Thursday, the singer took to Instagram to share her happiness over Dr. Luke's decision to let her perform at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards. The music producer originally denied the blonde over fears that she'd discuss her ongoing "litigation" against him while on stage.
Naturally, the businessman's choice INFURIATED fans AND celebs like Lady GaGa. From scathing articles to explosions on social media, just about everyone had something to say about Luke's total legal control over the beauty thanks to her contract with him at Kemosabe Records.
To celebrate Kesha's reversal in fortune, she posted a gushing message to share with fans:
It seems Dr. Luke was under the impression, the performance was going to be something other than an incredibly beautiful Bob Dylan cover.
Kemosabe records has just released a statement confirming the performance has now been approved, writing:
OMG, this is so heartbreaking!
It ain't the Billboard Music Awards, but this performance had to be seen anyway!
So, with a little help from Ben Folds and Y Music on Wednesday night, she performed the Bob Dylan cover she planned for the award ceremony at El Lay's Orpheum Theatre.

Two musicians sticking up for each other…
As we reported, Kesha was supposed to perform at the Billboard Music Awards on May 22 until Dr. Luke heard that the We R Who We R singer was reportedly going to make references about their lawsuit on stage.
The 29-year-old vehemently denies such claims, saying her now-cancelled performance "never had anything at all to do with" the music producer.
And to say she's not happy is a HUGE understatement.
On Wednesday, Pebe Sebert took to Twitter to call out the people responsible for pulling the plug on her daughter's upcoming performance. And believe it or not, she's not taking aim at Dr. Luke — well, not directly.
The 60-year-old went on social media to completely slam the American legal system, firing shots at the New York judge who denied the pop star her injunction bid to get out of a contract with her alleged abuser.
And while the Kemosabe label head was the one who decided to yank Kesha from the show, the momma-of-three decided to place blame on the woman who allowed the Sony producer to continue controlling her daughter's career, writing:
