Kevin Bacon is the greatest actor to have ever lived. There, we said it.
Not only is the above an unarguable fact, he also totes loves doggy dogs!!
And dogs love him back!!
Why, you ask??
Because dogs LOVE Bacon!
Get it? LOLz!
Kevin was on set, taking a break from shooting The Following in Soho, NYC, when a puppy dog came his way.
He dropped everything he was doing to show the pooch some love! Because he's a great guy, that's why!
Even though he's on set to work and bring home the bacon (heh heh) he still took time out of his day to pet an adorbz pupster.
Check out some more pics (below) of Kevin Bacon giving a cutie pooch some lovin'!

Kevin Bacon loooooves his doggy dog!
But sometimes, Bacon gets tired at the end of the day from bringing home the bacon.
Problem is, dogs love bacon. The food and the Kevin.
So when Kevin Bacon wants to take a nap in a serene sunbeam, the last thing he wants to do is run around and get slobbered on.
But his doggy really reallllly wants to play ball!
How do we know??
Well, the dirty tennis ball on Kevin's chest is a dead giveaway. LOLz!
Kevin posted a pic (above) and wrote:
"Just trying to take a nap! No Ball!!!! Not now!!!!!"
Look at his sweetie dog, clearly staring at him with one eye and at the ball with the other, trying to coax his papa into playtime!!
So stinkin' cute!!

The sounds of science!
Kevin Bacon was a curious George when it came to discovering the origins of his beloved pups Lilly and Rocky.
But he couldn't just ask them where they came from - he doesn't speak dog!
So, with the help of the internet, he set up a DNA lab in his house which revealed some startling results!

Some of the world's direst oil (the same oil the recently denied Keystone XL Pipeline would have brought) is in the Alberta tar sands.
To bring this oil over land to reach refineries would threaten the Spirit Bear, a gorgeous and rare bear species.
Check out the above video to hear Kevin Bacon explain how the Spirit Bear could be threatened by this dirty oil.
