This is a little disappointing.
However, The Intercept revealed that this isn't an honest statement after all!

Make that money, Robin!
Robin Wright is currently starring in probably the most prominent role of her career, but for some reason she hasn't always been making the same salary as her costar.
The 50-year-old actress and Kevin Spacey have played husband-and-wife team Claire and Frank Underwood on four seasons of House of Cards, but it wasn't until the later years of the Netflix drama that they finally achieved equality.
But that's only because Robin had to literally threaten the streaming service into fixing their gender wage gap!
The three-time Emmy nominee stopped by the Rockefeller Foundation on Tuesday to chat about feminism in modern television, and ended up sharing her own personal battle with sexism, saying:
While we love Ross on TWD, we must just love him more after his interview last night because he showed off his AH-Mazing talent for impersonations!
Ch-ch-check out the 34-year-old's wonderful impressions (below) and let us know what your favorite is!
This morning, Spacey made a stop at Today to chat it up with the hosts about the upcoming season, when Willie Geist asked Kevin if Frank Underwood would be behind Donald Trump and support him.
The 56-year-old actor stayed true to his character and said:
"[He'd] get behind just to shove him… I don't think so, no."
This of course is a reference to [SPOILER ALERT] the way Underwood killed off Kate Mara's character by pushing her in front of a subway train in season 2.
Ch-ch-check out Spacey's HIGHlarious response on Today (below):
Kids write the darnedest things!
With more acting awards than he knows what to do with, Kevin Spacey can make a captivating performance out of any scene he's handed!
And on The Tonight Show, the House of Cards star proved that he could even slay dialogue written by elementary school kids!
On Tuesday night, Spacey and Jimmy Fallon read riveting scenes written by children who had nothing to go off of but the title House of Cards!
And to shake things up, their performances were judged by a panel of three kid directors!
Like his onscreen politician Frank Underwood, Spacey tried to butter up the judges to get them on his side, but the kid confessed he didn't "get" the actor! LOLz!
But when all was said and done, there was one clear winner among the dueling actors. Watch the clip (below) to find out who won!
You better ante up, gurl.
Well, it looks like Kevin Spacey & Co. are ready to go all in for Season Four, because the trailer for the new handful of episodes dropped Thursday, and new cast member Neve Campbell seems poised to call all of the Underwoods' bluffs!
While the teaser doesn't show its hand right away, things seem darker than ever for Robin Wright, Joel Kinnaman, and the rest of the cast — so much so, we bet we lose a few characters before the recently renewed fifth season.
We can't wait to watch the drama unfold!

He does it again!
The 56-year-old actor of course scored the award for his role in the massively popular Netflix series House of Cards.

Will this house ever fall?
That's why we were pleasantly surprised when we were treated to a new House of Cards trailer during the Golden Globes on Sunday!
The Season Four teaser doesn't offer up much new footage, but reliving all of Kevin Spacey's questionable acts/murders — while he delivers a message to the American people — sure has us pumped for March 4!
Plus, Robin Wright may have lost the Best Actress in a TV Drama award to Taraji P. Henson… but hopefully the new season will bring both Frank and Claire back to the forefront and get them even more nominations.
All 13 episodes of House of Cards Season Four will be available on Netflix March 4.
Ch-ch-check out Frank Underwood as "The Leader we Deserve" (above)!!!
