As we reported, Kim Zolciak-Biermann recently underwent a successful heart surgery following her mini-stroke at the end of September.
In a new interview with People, the Don't Be Tardy star recounted the details of the terrifying moment the episode occurred after returning home from week two of Dancing With The Stars:
"I bent down to hug my son KJ and all of a sudden my left hand went numb. It was like a million ants were crawling over my body."
The mother-of-six said the sensation only got worse, and she wasn't able to feel her face or tongue.

The 37-year-old revealed that her kids weren't sure what was happening:
"I'm always joking around with my kids. I do these Jim Carrey impersonations with my face and my daughter Brielle thought I was doing that! She said, 'Mom, cut it out, you're not funny.'"
But Kroy Biermann's wife definitely wasn't messing around:
"I kept telling myself, 'You're fine, you're fine. It's going to be over in a minute, just hold on.'"
Fortunately, the scare happened when it did:
"I had just been driving home from the airport. I could have had the stroke on the highway. I'm a very spiritual person. God put me in the most perfect position I could have been in to go through this."
The reality star has been very vocal about the incredible support she's received from her family during this time.
We're happy Kim on the mend!
