Zac Efron made it onto the shortlist for his role in the critically malignedDirty Grandpa, and Ben Affleckmight be a finalist for his role in Batman v Superman! BTW, BvSwas nominated in EVERY category except Worst Actress! OUCH!
Hillary Clinton even made the tentative list of nominees… well kind of. The "documentary" Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party received several nominations, including one for Becky Turner, who plays her in the propaganda piece movie. One critic described the movie as "piggybacking a baseless personal attack onto a pseudo history lesson"; we're sure the real Hillary would LOVE to see this flick named one of the worst.
Ch-ch-check out the shortlist of nominees (below) as we wait for the FINAL list that will drop January 23 — only a day before the Oscar nominations announcement!
Aside from dealing with the usual supervillain problems like raising three girls, commanding a horde of minions, and suffering grueling couple names (though we kind of love "Grucy"…), Gru is faced with a brand new ‘80s-obsessed nemesis: Balthazar Bratt!
Voiced by South Park's Trey Parker, this shoulder-pad-wearing, moonwalking baddie certainly gives Gru a run for his money — even challenging him to a "dance fight" set to Michael Jackson's Bad!
Ch-ch-check out the hilarious trailer (above) and catch Despicable Me 3 in theaters June 30, 2017!
Baldwin's Donald Trump impression has been on point the entire election season, and yet he still might have hit his high point last night — which means we should be in for a phenomenal four years of Saturday Night Live!!!
Last night, with Kristen Wiig hosting, and musical guest The xx, Baldwin (above) spoofed The Donald as not even knowing what ISIS was — let alone having a special plan to fight them — in a wonderful and HIGHlarious commentary about how unprepared the real estate mogul is to actually be President!!
But it wasn't just Baldwin who stole the show last night, either!
Ch-ch-check out more highlights from yesterday evening's episode of SNL (below), including a lot of Wiig and SO much more!!
If you've been anywhere near the internet in the past week or so, you certainly know the Mannequin Challenge is the latest craze to sweep the web, and now Saturday Night Live's getting in on the fun!
This week Kristen Wiig is getting ready to return to host her old show and, for a solid bit, the 43-year-old decided to take a break from rehearsals to film a mannequin video with the rest of the cast!
From the looks of it, SNL pulled together a ton of their cast and crew as some stars even dressed up as popular characters — like Bobby Moynihan and Mikey Day as the skeletons from the David S. Pumpkins sketch!
Of course, Leslie Jones stole the spotlight in the promo as she broke from her frozen stance to find out what everyone else is doing! LOLz!
Ch-ch-check out Wiig and the cast of SNL get their mannequin on, and don't forget to catch the comedienne when she hosts the sketch show this Saturday night!
When Ghostbusters hit theaters last month, executives at Sony were confident that a sequel to Paul Feig's all-female reboot would be inevitable.
But since the film was met with a lukewarm box office performance and just fair-to-middling reviews, the studio has kept quiet on if it was still launching a live-action Ghostbusters universe as planned.
Though unlike the high-budget reboot starring Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy, 5SOS's ghost-hunting footage is pretty amateur — but that doesn't mean we wouldn't give the Aussie rock band a call to bust some ghosts.
Actually, these boys clearly don't know what they're doing, so we'll stick to the professionals in the film instead.
Ch-ch-check out the funny video for Girls Talk Boys (below) and catch Ghostbusters in theaters now!
