Kristin Chenoweth is a wonderful woman who has her own animal charity called Maddie's Corner, named for her dog Maddie.

She's a caring, compassionate person and also an Oklahoma native, so she's doing whatever she can to help those affected by the recent devastating tornado.

She is selling "Lending A Helping Paw" t-shirts through her charity at $25 a pop to try and raise money to help pets in need of medical attention since the tornado hit.

She said:

Sea urchin may not be the tastiest creature to eat, but considering that Kristin Chenoweth was trying to rack up some dough for her charity, Maddie's Corner, which is named after her pooch, she ate a spiny little critter on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Considering that the Hit and Run actress cannot stand seafood, she only agreed to eat it because she had a bet with the host. Leno told the starlet that as long as she took a bite of sea urchin, he would donate $$$ to her foundation that helps rescue and shelter doggies.

Luckily for Kristin, Jay had only promised to write a check for $500, but after she actually ate the urchin, he doubled the amount to $1,000.

And even though Miz Chenoweth was happy that she left the show with monies for her charity, she took to her Twitter to write:

So sad…..Kristin Chenoweth's American Airlines flight turned into a horror movie REAL fast!

The actress and her dahling doggie, Maddie, wanted to board an American Airlines flight from Dallas to LAX without any problems.

Until an AA worker accused Kristin of filing her paperwork incorrectly….

When Kristin protested, the employee berated and humiliated her…FOR NO REASON!!!!

We're wonder where Kristin Chenoweth and her pooch are headed?

Prolly some place SUPER WARMz!!!! LOLz!

Cheno hung out with her main bitch, Maddie, as the two prepared to board a flight at LAX.

And it looks like Maddie is traveling in doggie first class! Look at that doggie bag!

We want one too!!!! But we might be a bit too big!

Kristin Chenoweth hosted the The American Humane Association Hero Dog Awards this weekend and several animal loving celebs were out in attendance.

Some of the big names in dog adoration include Joey Lawrence, Denise Richards, Jake Pavelka, Betty White and Jewel performed for the furry and human crowd too!
