Lana Del Rey, we barely recognize you!
While we totally dig the smokey voiced singer's grand, ethereal, somber tracks, many of her tunes are very similar in tone…
Which is why we LOVE LOVE LOVE this newly leaked song, Queen of Disaster!
Prepare to shimmy your hips like it was the 1960s (above)!
So fun! So refreshing!
We reallllly hope this song will be featured on her upcoming album AND that it's a teaser of even more interesting melodies/rhythms to come…
Cause as much as we love melancholic beauty in the right dosage, the whole damaged-hollywood-babydoll thing is getting kinda depressing, LOLz.

Well, well! Would ya' look at this?!
Aside from a musical collaboration and a few random outings, Lana Del Rey usually keeps her relationship with boyfriend Barrie-James O'Neill away from the prying lenses of the paparazzi!
But it appears the breathy, baby-doll crooner decided to enjoy her latest trip across the pond with her man by her side, as she was spotted arriving with him in Edinburgh, Scotland yesterday, following the French premiere of The Great Gatsby - for which she provided the soundtrack's love theme Young & Beautiful - at the Cannes Film Festival in Nice!
Ch-ch-check 'em out (above)!
We just always adore how happy and relaxed these two always appear when together!
A pretty severe contrast from the toxic, all-consuming and supremely unhealthy romances she describes in her music, don't you think?
Hope you guys enjoy your time in Scotland!

Despite the many years of sobriety Lana Del Rey has under her belt, that doesn't mean she isn't vulnerable to relapse or isn't a HUGE fan of six-time rehab champion Lindsay Lohan!
Ironic enough for you??!
In the latest issue of FASHION, the cover girl revealed:
We've come to expect interesting things from the glamourpuss that is Lana Del Rey…
And we're glad to say that the music video for her very pretty yet strikingly somber Great Gatsby tune Young And Beautiful does not disappoint!
Admire the rouge-lipped Lana and her diamond tears (above).
We are definitely digging these deceptively simple visuals, and clever editing almost makes it feel like the video is throbbing!
Plus, the orchestral feature keeps with her "old hollywood" mixed with 1960s Nancy Sinatra aesthetic .
In fact, it kind of reminds us of an adult version of Disney's Fantasia, you know, if you were to take out the cartoons and just watch the in between bits, LOLz.
Haunting, effective, not over produced… love it!

Annnnd the crowd goes WILD!!!
Lana Del Rey totally ROCKED her show in Rome over the weekend, especially when she gifted them with the sparkling gem of her first live Dark Paradise performance.
As you can tell in the video (below), basically everyone with a recording device was holding that thing up in the air as high as possible. And basically everyone with vocal cords was singing at the top of their lungs.
We would’ve been too, if we were there!!
Of course Lana Del Rey, being the courteous person she is, let the crowd sing parts of the song for her.
If this gurl continues in the direction she’s been headed, she’ll be gracing our radios for a long time to come!
Ch-ch-check it ouuttt …AFTER THE JUMP!!!
Ummm remember when people used to HATE on Lana Del Rey for her live performances???
Definitely no longer a valid argument against the gal, because she performed the song Young & Beautiful from The Great Gatsby soundtrack live for the FIRST TIME last night, and there is NOTHING to hate about it.
The performance was hauntingly beautiful, and her audience was clearly captivated the entire time. Like, it gives us the shivers every time we watch.
Ch-ch-check it out! (above)
And check out some of her concert stills! (below)
There's no better way to communicate the tone of your movie than with the right music- and no one knows that better than Baz Luhrmann!
His epic Romeo + Juliet soundtrack went TRIPLE PLATINUM! And it sounds like The Great Gatsby might be following in the young lovers' footsteps!
Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to see and hear the extended TV spot that gives us a feel for the story through the haunting music of Lana Del Rey!
Never did something so Young And Beautiful make us want to cry so much!
