The Queen B of GG wants to make sure you remember that she is not only an actress, but a singer as well.

Last month, Leighton Meester's single song, Birthday, was "leaked" onto the internet. We liked it enough.

While shooting a music video for Cobra Starship, MTV caught up with Blair to ask about her upcoming album. She assured them that it was on its way, dropping sometime later this year on Universal. And don't expect her to quit her day job either…

"I don't know if I can really choose a favorite of what I want to do more or what I love more, ’cause I feel like I always felt I can do both."

Gossip Girl star and aspiring singer Leighton Meester, usually a brunette, was spotted leaving the Byron & Tracey salon in Beverly Hills this week with decidedly lighter locks.

We kind of like it.

Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester has just penned a deal with Universal Republic Records, PerezHilton.com has exclusively learned!

Looks like leaking tracks online really paid off!

The Gossip Girl star is at it again!

Leighton Meester wants to be a singer, and - in a page out of the Heidi Montag school of business - she has "leaked" a new song on the Internets.

The tune is called Birthday, and we actually like it. But, it's hard to tell if she sings well or had a little "help" in the studio.

Poor Leighton Meester. She's just one pooped puppy!

On Monday, the Gossip Girl star (and wannabe singer) was spotted filming in New York on the Upper East Side. Unfortunately, it looks like Meester had a very long night on Sunday - maybe watching the Super Bowl?

Meester could hardly stay awake on set. Eventually, she even passed out and took a little nap.

Must be hard work being semi-famous and making lots of money!

The scandals of Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester aren't relegated to just the TV show!

We told you before about Leighton's ex-convict mother and family of drug dealers.

Well, it seems like her brother is no angel as well!

Leighton's older brother, Douglas, was involved in a high profile sexual assault case while he was a sophomore in the Air Force.

He was accused of raping and sodomizing (yikes!) a female, but their extreme intoxication at the time muddied the circumstances, with the victim even saying that she "knew for a fact that he probably thought what we were doing was consensual."

The rape charge was dropped in exchange for a guilty plea to "conduct unbecoming of an officer, dereliction of duty, and committing an indecent act." He was fined $2000 and received a written reprimand.

The Meesters all seem like a bunch of fuck-ups!
