HBO finally released a new promo for the upcoming installment of Girls on Wednesday, and while it's only :50 seconds long, we feel like things are back to how they were when the show first started.

Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet, Adam Driver, Alex Karpovsky, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Andrew Rannells really seem to be firing on cylinders — and we cannot wait to see how Shoshanna is functioning in Japan. LOLz!

Elmo can really deliver that witty banter!

On Saturday, Sesame Street packed up and moved to HBO from PBS for its 46th season!

It's no surprise that the premium cable network is an inneresting home for the preschool classic, being that most shows on HBO cater to a more adult audience!

So, Jimmy Kimmel decided to help the newbie get accustomed to a more mature network by combining footage of Sesame Street with audio from the HBO dramedy Girls!

In the Jimmy Kimmel Live clip, Elmo and Abby have a hilarious discussion about sexuality courtesy of dialogue used in a scene with Lena Dunham and Andrew Rannells!

If you're wondering why they didn't spoof Game Of Thrones instead — Sesame Street already took care of that on its own!

We're so glad to see Lena Dunham and Hillary Clinton collaborating once again!

Just a few months after Lena employed Hillary to launch her website LennyLetter.com, the pair rekindled their creative partnership on Instagram AND the campaign trail.

Wait, does this mean Dunham is slated to be Clinton's pick for Vice President?! Washington D.C., could definitely benefit from a little humor these days…

Sadly, while we don't think L.D. will take up space at the White House anytime soon, she's DEFINITELY working hard to put Hil into office by commandeering her IG.

Not only is the actress posting adorable campaign photos, but she's also delivering speeches in support of Mrs. Clinton at pivotal election spots like Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Wow! It's clear the New York City native really wants the mom of one in office!

Get Ready To Say Goodbye To Your Favorite Girls! The HBO Show Will Reportedly End After Season 6!

| Filed under: TV NewsLena DunhamAllison Williams

At least we still have some time left with these lovely ladies!

The good news is that we still have two full seasons to prepare ourselves!

On Tuesday, Variety confirmed that the end is not-so-near for Girls, revealing that the popular program will be finished after its sixth season.

While HBO has kept quiet regarding the wrapping rumors, sources say the network will announce the sad news on Thursday during the Television Critics Association press tour.

Video: Watch The Trailer For Season 5 Of Girls!

Now, we can't say we're super surprised at this news, since the show's creator-slash-star, Lena Dunham, has said in the past that she thinks American series tend to last longer than they should.

Plus, rumors have been circling that HBO's president, Michael Lombardo, has previously talked with the 29-year-old about only having six seasons of the dramedy.

But luckily for us, Girls won't be ending anytime soon. The fifth season doesn't even premiere until the end of February, so we have plenty of time to prepare our heartfelt goodbyes.
