Well this is an inneresting leak!
Liam Payne was talking to BBC Radio 1 on Friday in relation to One Direction's new album Made In The A.M., when he accidentally spilled a little tidbit that isn't going to make Directioners very happy!
Talking on the British radio channel, Liam discussed the songwriting process and accidentally revealed just how long we can expect 1D to be on break, saying:
This is going to be a close one!
While last month's projected numbers had the British boy band beating out the Canadian crooner, we're finally hearing some more solid figures as to whether Made in the A.M. or Purpose sold more copies.
According to an early report, Harry Styles & Co. are currently
So in the half-decade these beautiful boys have been in One Direction, you'd think they'd have amassed thousands of text messages riddled with inside jokes and racked up some intense phone calls, right?
As it turns out, Liam revealed to People that he doesn't even have the other guys' numbers! WHAAAAAA?
While we find this really hard to believe, the 22-year-old actually has a passable excuse, saying:

Well, the first song they ever sang as a group just so happened to be Torn by Natalie Imbruglia… which they just performed Thursday at BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge.
Seems like a pretty good bookend to wrap up an iconic career as bandmates, right?!
Ch-ch-check out 1D's last performance before Made in the A.M.'s release on Friday (below)!!!

The boy band went through a big change earlier this year when Zayn Malik left to pursue a solo career. So, the guy group's fifth studio album will only feature the vocal stylings of Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan.
And while this highly-anticipated release will be their first project without the 22-year-old, the X Factor alums believe it's actually their best work to date!
Harry told People:
"Obviously when you get the finished product, a voice that was there before isn't there anymore, so obviously that's different. But we set out to make a record that we felt is our best one, and we really have been really proud of the fact that we feel like we've done that."
We wonder if Zayn is cold from standing in that shade! Ouch!
But then again, that dig might not have been intentional, since every artist should want their latest creation to be their greatest one, right?
Besides, there aren't any tracks on the album about Perrie Edwards' ex's grand exit. However, Niall revealed that doesn't mean the transition was easy, saying:
