Looks like some tough love and a nicotine fix was all Lindsay Lohan needed!

Just after escaping the "detrimental" Betty Ford Center, the troubled starlet was all smiles when she was spotted taking a smoke break with some new friends at her temporary new digs at Cliffside Malibu.

30 days of clean living (minus the cancer sticks) is doing gurlfriend good! We can't even remember the last time we've seen her look so peaceful and put together.

We can't even begin to imagine the fiery glow that she'll strut down the red carpet for the Venice Film Festival's The Canyons premiere in August.

Let's just hope that after all the facility dramz, Cliffside will FINALLY give LiLo the help she needs over the next 60 days so she can kick her icky demons for good!!!

Lindsay Lohan is totes happy about getting out of Betty Ford this week, and now we know why!

According to a source close to Linds, she was miserable at the treatment facility and tried to change locations from day one, revealing:

“Lindsay hated the Betty Ford Center. She made it clear that she did not want to be there and that she was going to get out of there any way that she could.”

Lindsay was even overheard complaining about the center, saying:

Apparently, Lindsay Lohan wasn’t the only one checking out of the Betty Ford Center.

Brooke Mueller, ex-wife of Charlie Sheen, has reportedly left the rehab treatment facility for another. According to sources, the socialite has been admitted to a rehab center in Orange County as it was felt that she needed a place to help her transition back into sober living.

Hmmm, is Betty Ford dropping in the rehab ranks?! First, Linds. Now, Brooke. Or are these ladies causing too much of a stir??

Either way, let’s just hope the two get the help they need!

This is a side of Lindsay Lohan we haven't seen lately!

And we're not saying that just because we haven't seen her at all since she's been tucked away in rehab.

It's been a while since LiLo looked like a movie star, but she might still have it in her!

New stills have just been released of LiLo's highly-anticipated next flick, The Canyons, which famously has her starring alongside porn star James Deen (above and below).

Yes, that is James right there! You might not recognize him without Farrah Abraham's bare booty in the scene. Boy, does he have the best luck with costars or what! LOLz!

But seriously, we've gotta give LiLo - or maybe her hair and makeup people - a little credit here because she looks pretty good!

If this is her on set BEFORE rehab then there might be hope for her yet AFTER rehab.

We just hope she stays on the right path after her time there and doesn't end up like James' other costar…

…yeah, no one wants to see LiLo turn into Back Door Betty!

Lindsay Lohan has moved on from Betty Ford to the Cliffside Malibu treatment facility. But this next step in treatment might be tougher than it sounds!

The facility's head has really been laying the smack down! OK, poor choice of words.

But srsly, CEO Richard Taite is all about the tough love for Lindz. He says:

We hate to say this, but the new reason behind Lindsay Lohan's Betty Ford departure sorta makes more sense!

Here we were, thinking LiLo and her Betty Ford homies were getting along alllll fine and dandy. We were like, whaaaat, AMAZING!! Gurl’s really gonna make a comeback!!
