While we obvi would want a Friends reunion to happen immediately, having the show come back later rather than never could work for us!
In case you hadn’t heard, there were recently some hope-igniting rumors floating about that there might be a Friends reunion in the works. Thus far, these rumors don’t seem to hold any ground, but Matthew Perry still thinks it could happen!
Maybe in the very VERY far future…
Matty Matt told an interviewer:
Awww, do we spot ANOTHER almost Friends reunion?!
Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, aka on-screen besties in buddy sitcom Friends, were spotted chilling together Thursday during the opening night of the P.S. ARTS Presents: L.A. Modernism Show in Santa Monica (above)!
Now, we KNOW that a fully fledged Friends reunion is NOT an option, at least according to the show's co-creator Marta Kauffmantells…
But it's obvious that the (former) members of the (pretend) wacky group of twenty something who lived in unrealistically nice Manhattan apartments are down to get together…

A Friends reunion will have to remain in our dreams, people!
Co-creator Marta Kauffmantells adamantly answered questions about rumors of an upcoming Friends season.
She explained at last night’s Call Me Crazy red carpet:
This cast is clearly itching for a Friends movie just as much as we are!
Matt LeBlanc will be joining Lisa Kudrow as a guest star on the third season of her show Web Therapy, making this the second mini Friends reunion announcement in the last two months!
Web Therapy creator Dan Bucatinsky revealed that Matt will “[play] a gambler,” which is all fine and good until Lisa’s character “becomes one, too.”
He said:
And she is DUNZO!
Just before filming was set to begin again this month, Christina Applegate is bailing on Up All Night.
Say whaaaaat?!
It’s true! Christina is calling it quits with the NBC show just as five additional episodes were set to be filmed with a new, traditional multi-camera format with a live studio audience.
Christina released a statement about her shocking and sudden departure:

For YEARS there has been talk of Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey reuniting on the big screen.
But, according to co-executive producer/director Kevin S. Bright, the NBC sitcom is totally done forever. Cue us dying of sadness.
In what appears to be an effort to break the hearts of Friends fans across the world, Kevin recently said:
"There is absolutely, 100 percent no talk about a reunion … there will be no Friends movie. It was made to be an intimate show in your living room. It wasn't a broader show like many of the comedies today that are shot single-camera. It's wonderful the way it is."
And if you still have even an tiny little ounce of hope for a movie based on your fave TV show, Matt LeBlanc wants to squash it!
In an uncharacteristic moment of cruelty to his fans, Joey laid out the reasons why he believes the show won't work as a movie, saying:
