After reports of Miley Cyrus and Liza Minelli making cameos in Sex and the City 2, it seems there is an Oscar-winner joining the cast!

Penelope Cruz just filmed a scene for the highly anticipated sequel, in which she will be playing herself on the red carpet.

Caliente!

And although it was rumored that Beyonce would be in the film, she'll only be there is song. Liza will be singing Single Ladies at the wedding of Stanford and Anthony in which Carrie's the best man!

And that wasn't even a play on her looks!

We've come across a mayjah SPOILER ALERT, so avert your eyes!

Although we've seen Samantha Jones don bridal couture, it seems that it was all for show!

According to In Touch Weekly, Sex and the City 2 will feature a wedding of epic proportion - the union of Stanford Blatch (Willie Garson) and Anthony Marantino (Mario Cantone)!

Wowsa!

It's even rumored that Liza Minnelli will be officiating the ceremony!

Producers are planning the ultimate gay wedding,” said an insider. “They already signed Liza and now they’re in secret talks with Barbra Streisand about being a wedding guest!”

Stanford may not be a young Ed Harris, but he'll make one great hubby!

Loves it!

And the two were looking quite dapper yesterday as they filmed the wedding scene!

We knew there was a possibility this could happen, but now the rumor's confirmed!

Miz Liza Minnelli will be making an appearance in the Sex and the City sequel!

That's reason enough to see the film!

But it gets better!

She'll be performing Beyonce's Single Ladies during a wedding scene! Probably Stanford and Anthony Marentino's wedding, if the rest of the rumor is true.

Supposedly there's an elaborate wedding scene taking place in Connecticut with the guest list including the girls plus Stanford Blatch and his parents!

Rumor has it that Stanford and Anthony Marentino are tying the knot - with Liza Minnelli as the wedding entertainment!

Oh, we LOVES this!

And here's another juicy tidbit, although it hasn't been confirmed yet: Miley Cyrus might be making a cameo appearance!

As we mentioned last month, Paula Abdul will be appearing on Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva.

Notice how she takes a jab at American Idol by saying it's "nice being the only judge". While funny, we're not too sure that'll help get her old job back! That is if there's any hope left for that!

At Jennifer Lopez's surprise 40th birthday party at the Edison Ballroom in NYC on Saturday, the actress threw a fit over the lack of timeliness of her guests.

"Jennifer's party was very intimate, and there were a noticeable amount of empty seats when the dinner started. Jennifer was really irritated. She was fuming because people were late, and complained about it really loudly to Marc," says an attendee. "Jennifer was visibly upset and embarrassed."

Those who found themselves on the diva's shiz list included Alicia Keys, boyfriend Swiss Beatz and the few who didn't attend, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

Other guests included the oddly combination of Ricky Martin, Liza Minnelli, Leah Remini, L.A. Reid and Gayle King.

"After Jennifer got over her initial irritation, she let go and looked like she was having the time of her life, drinking champagne and partying until 4 a.m. It was definitely a good way to kick-start her 40s," continues the source.

You're never too old to for divalicious behavior!

Some time ago, we mentioned that Anne Hathaway will tackling one of her biggest roles to date: Judy Garland.

The actress is slated to portray the legend on not only the big screen, but the Great White Way too - in the production called Get Happy: The Life of Judy Garland. While she attended the Tony Awards this past Sunday, she talked about the overwhelming undertaking of playing Garland.

"I think I’m either naive or insane to play her — maybe a little bit of both," she says.

She also revealed that while she hasn't had the chance to speak to her yet, she feels a conversation with Liza Minnelli, daughter of Judy Garland, is an important step in understanding how to tackle the role.

“I haven’t had a chance to talk to her about it yet, but I understand that as long as I treat Judy with respect — which of course I will — Liza is very happy about it.”

We're pretty excited about this! We think she is a phenomenal choice, if she doesn't choke!

It was 'doctor's orders'!

Wednesday night's performance of problem-plagued Liza Minnelli's 'critically acclaimed' new Broadway show, Liza's at the Palace . . .!, was cancelled, leaving many gays quite angry.

The show's producer has issued the following statement:

"This past opening week has been a marathon run for Liza—which unfortunately has led her to dehydration and her doctor has insisted she get some extra rest. Liza will return for the show's next scheduled performance on Friday, Dec 12th (8PM)."

Get well, Liza with a Z!

Don't get "dehydrated" anymore!
