Barbra Streisand is one of the greatest living music legends — and this summer, she's going back on the road for an Encore!
On Monday, the Hollywood icon's longtime manager Marty Erlichman announced Babs would be going on tour this year AND dropping a new album titled Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway!
The new album pays tribute to the EGOT winner's contributions to Broadway and Hollywood by pairing Streisand "with some of Hollywood's biggest stars to sing Broadway classics." AH-Mazing!
As for her 2016 tour, the songstress will be hitting nine cities, kicking off in Los Angeles on August 2 and wrapping in Toronto on August 23!

On Monday, Barbra Streisand's long-planned musical — Gypsy — is being produced by STX Entertainment after being put into turnaround at Universal!
In case you aren't familiar, the project is a screen adaptation of the classic 1959 musical by Jule Styne, Stephen Sondheim, and Arthur Laurents.
Gypsy — based on the 1957 memoir of stripper Gypsy Rose Lee – centers around Mama Rose — played by the legendary actress herself — and her two young daughters, Baby June and Louise, who try to become stars!
Streisand is writing the adaptation with Richard LaGravanese, and is producing with Joel Silver through his company, Silver Pictures. Barry Levinson will direct.
Get ready to be entertained!

Wow, talk about two of the greatest.
The 73-year-old icon shared an adorable throwback of the lovely ladies (above) with the message:
"Dear @CelineDion - Every time you look at your children's faces, you will see René. With love and strength - B"
Babs is referring to the three children the Dion shared with her manager-turned-lover – René-Charles, 15, and 5-year-old twins Eddy and Nelson.
All the feels.
Our hearts go out to the Dion-Angélil family today at René's funeral in Montreal.

No wonder she's been taking all those acting classes recently!
Of course, A Star Is Born was originally made in 1937 and then remade twice — in 1954 with Judy Garland, and again in 1976 with Barbra Streisand — but now Queen Bey looks to give it a go for a third remake!
While it might be an iconic dramatic role for Bey — and allow her to cross over into other serious acting roles, as well — Cooper is also looking to get something big out of the project:
