You KNOW things are bad when Lindsay Lohan's mom is giving your mom advice!

And that's just was Dina Lohan is doing.

The mother of the year offers some parenting tips to Miley Cyrus's mom.

Dina was being honored this week in New York by "Mingling Moms."

Orange Oprah was being presented an award for being one of the Top 20 Moms in Long Island by the "Mingling Moms of long Island." Must suck to have your mom on that same list as Dina!!!!

And while there, a reporter asked Lohan what advice she would give to Miley's mom.

Lohan responded with, "I don't know Miley's mom, but you know, just say strong and keep your head up. And she's talented [Miley] and stay focused."

Oh and then she adds, "You know, and be her mom."

Ha! If only she would follow her own advice!

That's almost as good as Lynne Spears and her parenting skills book.

These Hollywood moms should all get together and write a book on what NOT to do as a parent.

Lynne Spears has been rather quiet lately, but Jamie Lynne's momma is speaking out about the impending arrival of her new grandchild and her hopes for the future.

Life & Style is touting an "exclusive interview" with Lynne in their new issue. An interview that sounds like it was conducted outside the supermarket or while she was pumping gas! Not very long at all.

“I’m a bit disappointed that my youngest daughter got pregnant at such an early age,” she tells Life & Style. “All I can do is turn to God for answers and just leave it in his hands.”

But despite her frustration with the horny and irresponsible teen, Lynne is trying to focus on the positive.

“Jamie Lynn will be a wonderful mother,” she says. “She really has a way with children — she’s a natural nurturer. I just wish she had waited a bit.”

As for the future, Lynne remains hopeful for her daughter, telling Life & Style, “I think 2008 will be a better year for all of us.”

Let's hope so!

Little Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant AND engaged, but Momma Spears isn't going to let this baby lose her money in divorce!

Lynne is (rightfully) said to be insisting that the couple sign a pre-nup.

A source tells In Touch Weekly, "The contract is already drawn up and ready to go. Lynne's not sure marriage is a good idea, but she'll go along with that if that's what Jamie Lynn wants, as long as Casey signs the contract."

A family friend says Lynne is worried about Casey and is aware of rumors that he's a cheater. He adds, "Lynne is keeping an eye on him. He doesn't seem as committed to the relationship as Jamie Lynn."

Momma spears is currently back in Kentwood to celebrate Jamie Lynne's birthday this Friday.

The soon-to-be new mommy is turning 17. She's almost old enough to vote!

After some time in Louisiana to be with sperminated daughter Jamie Lynn, the Spears matriarch has returned to support Britney in her path towards getting better (and staying that way)!

Is Britney finally getting better????

All signs point to a YES!!!!

Spears, whom we hope is still receiving treatment for her mental illness, was spotted with her mother, Lynne, in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The pair bonded over clothes, shopping at the Miss Sixty store on Melrose before heading over to the Millennium Dance Studios in the Valley.

And, Brit Brit and mom were accompanied by their new bodyguards.

All good things!

Treatment is essential, though. They can't ignore that.

File this under: more reasons to hate her mother!

Lynne Spears is reportedly headed ovah to K-Fed's home to babysit Tater Tot and Small Fry so Daddy Kev could attend tonight's Marc Jacobs fashion show in the NYC.

K-Fed's rep confirmed he is going to the show and will be in New York for one day on business meetings but would not comment on who's caring for the children.

Does Marc have something special in store tonight that will feature K-Fed?

Wonder what BritBrit thinks of Mama Spears playing babysitter.

Britney's parents are not happy about her release from the hospital on Wednesday.

They claim that the UCLA Medical Center let Spears go, even though the psychiatrist treating her wanted the fallen pop star to remain hospitalized.

Jamie & Lynne released the following statement late Wednesday evening.

"As parents of an adult child in the throws of a mental health crisis, we were extremely disappointed this morning to learn that over the recommendation of her treating psychiatrist, our daughter Britney was released from the hospital that could best care for her and keep her safe. We are deeply concerned about our daughter's safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk. There are conservatorship orders in place created to protect our daughter that are being blatantly disregarded. We ask only that the court's orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted."

We agree!

Hopefully Brit's parents can make sure she gets the help she needs.

Boy, oh, boy!

These are some serious allegations!

The courts released the restraining order against Osama Lutfi on Tuesday, and in the papers, the Spears family alleges that he drugged Britney, took over her life and finances and controlled the paparazzi who pursued her for months.

In her declaration, Britney's mom, Lynne Spears, says that her daughter met Lutfi in October 2007 and "Mr. Lutfi has essentially moved into Britney's home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances."

In a section of the order that detailed previous harassment, Lynne Spears said "Mr. Lutfi drugged Britney, he has cut Britney's home phone lines and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything—Britney's business manager, her attorneys and the security guards at the gate."

The court has ordered Osama to stay away from Spears.

We have asked Lutfi for comment to the allegations. We have yet to hear back from him.
